Top tier content right here
whered you get your pot? ive been looking for a pot like that but cant find them in places like sail or mec. cool trip!
we also had a tough time finding a large one for over the fire! It was a few years ago but I think we got one similar to this www.amazon.ca/HNJZX-Titanium-Cookware-Non-Stick-Campfire/dp/B099KLDZGP/ref=sr_1_40?crid=RU7NOUCUZ798&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.aEq6RySjM49FgeoHV8fiSzTQpBvCJkIvjYwsqajOuC3MSkyJ1GT3kRsr_yGvIiI057xm2PMmtU2EDE-wxitMzKpoz0cNNTMis9CDJrDmReLV8keS-yUPbAXB13LmnGR0eY5w-_PbYU4VYGxAgTwBrKCnl-vQrzStoLAPskjUZVQ_uHS5nZuiv1b_zpkkrqeSdz_HCWzlWPOkdJKEj_oMsK94HrWbggylgErEIa3Fi0IwigeupN0rCSZIDQkXg6pe5tNtIZeznCzW3e-cvBfWBuIn0FjbhTLon5lI2QyD_6Q.E6DRyXWs7LawK1xF03ZzlQSmeRc4uH9D8CmWzm52pfw&dib_tag=se&keywords=5L+camping+cooking+pot&qid=1724197376&sprefix=5l+camping+cooking+pot%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-40
Why can you not take cans into the park. Lots of other options.
I love the leafs obituary at the end of the video.
gotta beleaf
10/10 vibes
What a cute dog and a good looking guest star you had in this video!
Beautiful nfld 🥹 forever foggy here 😂 nice video 🤍
34G2+V2V Cape Broyle, Newfoundland and Labrador
Really enjoyed the compact format and listening to you guys call each other honey all the way down the trail! 😂 Awesome!
Looking good my friend! Such a charming video!
What a beautiful scenery my friend, this looks and feels amazing!
Thanks!!
I heard they were finally planning to open up the Bruce to camping so we can do real thru hiking on it soon! That's so cool because several years ago I got stoked to thru hike the Bruce but then learned that you can't legally camp on most of it so that killed my plan, but now it's back on the board! Woohoo Canadian thru hiking!
looking forward to that option! hopefully it happens
Beautiful weekend - can’t believe we had it all to ourselves!
I wanna be sponsored by Dunlop because their Chesapeake rubber boots are so light, so comfortable, and I still haven't put a hole in them yet even when digging out ditches on 4x4 trails. Neoprene socks. I do cut the heels down though cause I'm a zero drop addict. My other boots are Altras (trail runners). I'd never buy another hiking boot, it'll never happen again. Gore Tex liners and waterlogged leather make me not sure if I should laugh or cry. 😂
whatever works best for you! I think in our case it was just alot of wear and tear
@@madformaple were those boots used before the trip? I got the impression they were new at the beginning in which case it would be crazy that they fell apart on the first trip.
Great that everything turned out well for you.
Beautiful!! Can’t wait to see more!
Nice fishing boys! Pike are actually really tasty if you don't get slime all over the meat. Wash, filet & release, and skin on shore or in the bottom of the canoe to keep that pike stank away from your cooking area for a better dining experience.
Beautiful video!
You are too kind!
Tremendous. Loved and subbed from New Brunswick. Looking forward to more.
Glad that you enjoyed it!
I liked your intro honoring the natives. ❤ Like and sub. Good luck on your adventures outside and within RUclips. 🍀
Thanks! we appreciate it
Interesting to have so many of you narrate
Thanks! It's a group effort to coordinate
Great start to the trip guy's! That last campsite looked epic, nice 370° view😉
thanks! Yes, views all around and even a bit more 😆
Looks like a really nice trip, not bad for a last minute replan. Seeing a few moose is awesome too. Though the bugs were certainly out in full force!!
Thanks! We are glad that the route worked out!
Definitely the start of a great adventure with good friends!
Thanks! Glad that you enjoyed it
Great to have more Mad for Maple adventures. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for watching!
10/10 content. Keep it coming!
thanks! glad that you enjoyed it
I can't believe charlie has been taking more canoe trips than me
You'll have to come on one this summer then!
I think that's the first backcountry ladel I've ever seen!
Me Whats a dorky youtube comment for a weekend camping video ChatGPT Here's a dorky comment you could leave on a weekend camping video: "Weekend warriors unite! 🏕 Who needs Wi-Fi when you've got the great outdoors, s'mores, and more? #CampingLife #TechDetox"
good company out there!
Nice trip 👍👍, I did the same route last spring (actually have done that section multiple times). Never stayed on that site on Little Misty but looked pretty wide and open.
thanks for watching! It was nice and close to that long portage. The only thing that the site was missing was a view for the sunset!
Sick trip, I usually hike QEW2 but haven't brought my canoe there yet, it looks quite promising for a 2024 adventure!!! Also not too far from Toronto which is a plus
thanks! thinking of hiking it next year. Love how close it is!
Nice trip 😊
Thanks!
Where is the rest of this trip? I dont see it on the channel........
Loved the Nalgene scoop I wish I knew more about the areas I was in to know if the water was clean enough to drink
An aqua tab was certainly added to that Nalgene but just wasn't filmed. Thanks for watching!
That sure is a decent amount of portages/distance and short amount of time, especially that canyon portage 😂 Something about those last minute trips❤ great trip thx for sharing. cheers! Go leafs!
Glad that you enjoyed! this is our year!
Awesome star night pictures!!
much appreciated - thanks!
As a Canadian who owns land in Northern Ontario, I always found it funny AF that "Northern Ontario" is one of the southernmost parts of the entire country
Really enjoyed this video. Great camaraderie and a pleasure to see. Your cooking skills are amazing too . Well done 👍. The way you make your coffee is unique.
Where did y’all learn to cook? Really nice meals and healthy too👍👍. Does everyone prepare the meals or a designated person?
Jon of Lost Lakes uses barbless hooks so it’s less harmful to the fish when caught and easier to remove the hook when returning them to the lake.
Sweet viewpoint! I'd camp there for sure.
I am definitely adding tacos to the menu. Oh man, with over 5k of portages and no dehydrated meals on the menu with liquid energy, that deserves a like for sure. I love the bloopers.
glad you enjoyed it! We certainly got our steps in that weekend
That is my favourite part of Ontario. Glad you had an enjoyable trip 😊
Thanks Derek!
