Ren is one of the best multi-talented artist out there today. He has a soulful voice with a huge range and can sing and play any genre. He plays multiple instruments at a masters level, he raps, beatboxes, acts, directs, writes his own music when not doing a cover, lyrics, top story teller, sound engineer and producers his own music and music videos with his camera man Sam. He is rare for sure.

Ren adds "retake" to songs that he's either covering (see "Back on '74 / Message in a bottle") or where he's just using the song as a basis for his own approach (this song). Definitely have a listen to some of his other retakes and his own original stuff.
