A Day Out it Colombo! Museum and Pagoda - Sri Lanka Vlog
Pooja and I go out for an adventure in Colombo!
We start at the National Museum of Natural History in Colombo where we had a great time going through the museum! It is huge so prepare to spend at least 2/3 hours there! Especially if you go to the natural part - which is a second museum there. Honestly, you can skip it though, not much there.
After that we go down to the Gal Face area and visit T-lounge & bar by Dilmah! Fun place to hang out and get some fusion teas. All from Sri Lanka and locally made! Also nice interior and very colorful, worth a quick visit and drink. Some drinks are a little expensive though! They are large so make sure to share!

as a proud Roman Catholic, i love this. and reminds me a lot about my faith in the best way possible.
It was such an enjoyable watch.
More foolish people with enough money to attempt this foolishness
Prove it
Your voice is too wierd to finish video. robot voice. photos dont correllate to captions. Information basic.
Hiked this pass on my own a number of years back. The landscape was beautiful and I got lucky with the weather…. Even at that it was a hard push and very apparent while navigating my way over if things went sideways it could easily become a very bad experience! The tragedy of those adventurous souls caught in such a non forgiving environment at that time breaks my heart!
Not expected from a forgeiner to make video on this topic 😂😂
❤
Was there in early nineties.. amazing trip .. I had slight altitude sickness but pushed through ..some turned back.found out week later there were landslides and flooding .. luckily we’d made it to Jonsom by then .. I’d still go back ..
What month was this video shot?
Very good 👍😊
that will be my dream i live in philippines WE LOVE NEPAL AND INDIA HINALAYAS IS BEAUTIFUL TALL MOUNTAINOUS RANGE its so cool i would live there when i become pilot
I love buddha🌺💖👍
Nice 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The fact the guy that's hanging horizontally, chaotically connected to those ropes (his body also seemingly having been secured to what he is laying on with rope that's twisted around it several times) at first glance made me think the person has to be asleep (or so, not dead anyway), as he has his arms folded over his chest which is a pose we seldomly see with dead folk. Also it looks a lot like this being part of a rescue mission, an attempt to get him transported down the mountain. He seems to lay onto something that's strong and stiff enough to carry his weight while maintaining its shape. Furthermore the whole 'package' seems to hang from thay rope in a way that would allow sliding without obstruction under the force of gravity. And it ALSO looks like there is a guidance line present to make sure no increasing speed could cause things to run out of control The person could be dead but to me this looks more like someone who has gotten ill and has to be rescued This sure looks like a setup of such a way as one can use to transport someone down a slope. The rope (it would usually be and be called a cable, but mountaineers use ropes) that 'carries' the person has all kinds of advantages. First of all does it prevent extra discomfort to the person caused by physical contact between his body and the surface which in such an environment will certainly make for a bumpy ride. Also it relieves the rescuers of the necessity of having to carry the person's full body weight, which would be an impossible task to carry out on the steeply sloping side of an unforgiving mountain that also is covered in snow and ice, has invisible obstacles, loose rocks and unexpected, highly dangerous cracks and openings everywhere one would go, even if it would be possible in a nqvigational sense, there would not be many people capable of delivering the exceptional account of energy that effort would require be cause of the lack of oxygen in the air one would breathe at that high altitude. Also sliding someone down (as) via a 'cable' makes it possible to avoid crevasses and otherwise uneven terrain. A person could even be lifted over steep drops and any depth as long as the rope (or cable) would be long enough and we long as a spot could be found that'd be suitable to connect your 'cable' securely at both the high starter position and the lower destined one. A bit like how in South America the population of mountainous regions travel over veritable valleys to their orchards and fields high up on the mountain across from it, of your ever saw that.
AND IM HERE, WATCHING FROM MY COUCH, DRINKING HOT CHOCOLATE 😂😂
If they let people climb they would deadliest mountain
stupid video, come on dude
Dear admin did you pay anything for the shoot inside of this cafe?
You're pretty amazing to risk it all. Few ever get to your level. Congrats on living life.
All mountains are dangerous.
Thank you for the good vido, but can you please turn off the music so we can better focus on your voice and not be distracted by unnecessary sounds?
Hi Hayden, I lived in Nepal as a 9 year old on 1972 for two years. I went back and saw my old school in Katmandu - Lincoln School. I cried remembering how kind and dedicated our teachers were. My Danish wife lived in India for 3 years, I lived there for 5 years. We are back in Ghana for the third time after a year in Kenya. The people here are unrushed, kind and very hospitable. They appreciate life and little things. There are many subtle beautiful things in Africa and Asia. I visited many countries in Asia, in many cases staying there a few months. Stay as long as you can. Returning to the US will be more of a shock than you can imagine - reverse culture shock. I wish you well...
Loved the circuit...If you have the means and like to hike, with some moderate climbing skills, put it on the bucket list!
Can you give me the link of your Excel/ Spreadsheet, because i want know/track my monthly expenses. Please 🙏🏻❤🥺

WRONG!!!! He was found the following day. Numerous people, including the South Afrikan team, who refused to help, Rob Hall's team, passed by both Rob Hall and Scott Fischer when climbing Everest a few days following this catastrophe.
In 1979 Yugoslav Everest expedition climbed Everest via west ridge. Made a great accomplishment like Americans 16 years before.
Wow. Thanks for sharing. Excellent break down and a clean looking spreadsheet. I prefer seeing a spreadsheet like this 10x more than the travel YT'ers who mostly show vacation footage and verbally mention some of their costs. I'm planning a 5 month trip this fall, starting w/ 1 month in Jaipur. I'm shocked by how affordable this was for 2 people, as I'm estimating ~$900 for myself. Includes fun money, cowork & gym memberships, plus travel insurance. Are you willing to share how you found accommodation? In SEA my method was book a hotel for a few nights, get boots on the ground, find an area I like, and contact landlords for monthly rentals at better prices. Although that's best for stays of at least 2-3 months. I'm planning to book an Airbnb in Jaipur, and obviously that costs more. Thanks again for the useful video, hope your travels are going well.
