Have you ever seen the photos taken after the female Air Force pilot flew her A-10 home after all hydraulics failed and she had to use the fourth back up flight controls. That means cables and pulleys like a biplane. Moving flaps, alerons, air brakes, landing gear against the amazing air resistance at like 180 mph. To jump into it. She only had one working engine, but somehow, that jet motor was still working with like half the blades missing on the fans that draw air into the engine. She was missing one of the vertical tail fins entirely, she had just a bit less than half of her left wing left (yes, missing half a wing), the maintenace crew counted something like 600 small arms bullet holes in it. It was missing large sections of surface covering metal in places so large you could see through the jet to look at someone or something else. Those holes throgh the fuselage range from 6" to 28" big. It looks unflyable but that pilot brought it home

It's an early Chinese Type 98 but they never put it into full service. It was basically the prototype for the Type 99 which replaced it. However, this line did produce an M1 under the name "combat tank". Its as nicely detailed as this one. I own both and repainted them. Great tanks.

The box you showed early in the video is NOT an original box as you suggest. In the upper left corner it clearly says “for 5 years and older” . This was not on the boxes from the 1960’s, sorry.

The green and purple items from the first box are Major Matt Mason alien items. I imagine they are rare and valuable.

Pause...unless I have been mis-educated and misinformed...the Thompson has been issued to sargents...you said captains...I have seen M1 Carbines issued to Captains...depending on the type of platoon/squad you come across...In BOB that was given scrutiny for autheticity-Wild Bill empties his during the ecounter with the Germans and the horse wagon...in SPR- due to the nature of the mission you can see what the character Tom Hanks plays uses as a Ranger Captain...not my words- theirs🤓

Tired of guys on ebay advertising a 1964 Gi joe with a Fuzzy Heads, I email one to give him a heads up that his adventure Team figure was NOT from 1964, and he texted me back and said , YES it is, it says 1964 right on the Butt! and he was asking $250 for a C3 Condition figure.

He must have made this video a while ago because the price has gone way past 20 dollars for even the non translucent heads. Actually even an arm part cost about 20 dollars now not including anything else.

Interesting vid,I only think I have one gi joe in my action man collection so he is in the full infantry set,over in the UK it looks like the red hair was the figure you got for 21 star mail away.looks like the snow patrol came in the UK with short black boots and the larger white boots came in the Royal marine artic warfare set.still love all my action men I have collected since 1967 and up to close on a 100 figures,one of the best toys ever made and so many Happy memories.

Good info -- one important point (re: 8:22) is the maker's mark for the 1964-65 and 1966 models are the same except the 1964-65 has a "TM" symbol after "GI Joe" and the 1966 model has an "R" registration symbol instead.

Are these foot lockers 1964 and were there any reproductions? I have one that is in mint condition sure does not look 60 years old like me : )

Helmet was from Marx Stoney Smith. . .The other period similar Helmet was from Ideal's Captain Action costume for Sgt.Rock.

M1 carbines were originally hard model airplane plastic. . . then, in the Adventure Team kits like the White Tiger Hunt, you got either a sport bolt action rifle or the Vinyl M1 carbine with a scope. . .

Great review ... I had the HAVOC in 1986 as a 11yr old.. Been eyeing on this long time.. Also picked up a bunch of vintage figures, the Cobra Rattler, Cobra Flight Pod , Ram cycle, FANG chopper, Triple T tank, HISS tank, Awe striker, Conquest X30, Moray Hydrofoil, Armadillo tank and the fantastic Cobra Terror Drome.. I'm bankrupt this month.. 😂... I hope u do a Rattler and a Terror Drome review if ever its possible.. Great work as always! Yo! Joe! And yes, i need to get that ultimate guide book.
