The official RUclips channel for Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University. We post videos in Danish and English.
The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University conducts research, education and innovation of the highest international caliber. Computer science is very important for the development of all sectors of society, and the departments highly skilled staff educates and mentors our extremely demanded students to be leaders of the next generation.
The department offers research-based education for our 800 students distributed between two Bachelor’s degree programs (Computer Science and IT Product Development), two Master’s degree programs, a PhD degree program as well as a continuing education program. Åbent Hus 2024
Den 5. maj 2024, afholdt Institut for Datalogi ÅBENT HUS arrangement for kommende studerende og deres forældre. Her kunne de besøgende høre oplæg fra studievejledere og forskere, tale med nuværende studerende, få rundvisning på instituttet og kæmpe mod hinanden i robot-bob og minigolf. Can highly recommend studying at Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University! ✌
Så længe man ikke læser AU's Computerteknologi. Den er virkelig dårlig. Især på kandidaten. Underviserne mangler faglighed og god opførsel. Nogle undervisere er ikke i stand til at svare på studerendes spørgsmål omkring opgaver, man skal lave. Enkelte undervisere har en ubehagelig og grænseoverskridende adfærd. Der er især en underviser ved navn Jalil, hvor mange studerende fortæller, at de er frustreret over ham. Det er meget svært at få hjælp af ham omkring de opgaver, han selv stiller. Hvis man stiller et kritisk spørgsmål, kan han finde på at svare arrogant tilbage. Han kommer for sent til eksamen, hvor han selv er eksaminator. Han dukker nogle gange ikke op til sine egne timer. Han lyver nogle gange og fortæller urigtige oplysninger om f.eks. eksamener til folk. Flere folk har forsøgt at klage over ham. Desværre sker der ikke noget. Formentlig fordi de mangler undervisere, så de føler ikke, at de kan fyre ham

An improvement from 2.675 to 2.674?! That's crazy! Before this, the last big breakthrough I heard of in approximation algorithms only had an improvement from 1.5 to 1.5-10^(-36). \s

This is funny, but most of the joke is from this sketch ruclips.net/video/BKorP55Aqvg/видео.html. I assume the point is that they, as opposed to the original sketch, actually solve the problem, so it's kind of a homage. But using so much of the original script without transparency about the origin of the material was a bad move. I assume you just didn't consider that doing so was inappropriate, and that this was an honest mistake.
Hi LoZander, thank you for the reminder. The script is almost the same, with some minor tweeks to fit the context a little better and a different ending. Naturally the original comedy sketch shall recieve the appropriate credits for that, I forgot to write it in the description as I uploaded it. You could say this video is a parody on that exact video, just in a data expert context. I apologize and thank you for watching it! Best, Sebastian
