SEAD involves active participation from the rural communities by empowering the local Orang Asal (OA) in sustainable bamboo harvesting, bamboo seedling and biochar production. They are our enablers of forest stewardship. By choosing what we do for social impact, the OA have a secondary source of income and women are empowered to contribute to their family's earnings.
