Rare L Egypt, in the name of "Land of Best History," how can they allow such things to exist, which ruins a country's culture, and overall reputation of a country? I have to say, THIS IS VERY DISGUSTING in a country that has the best history. I just felt like, if I was there, I would say, "FREE ISRAEL 🇮🇱", idc if I wouldn't get k!lled for that. My mind got lost yesterday while seeing this. (Do debate with me if you want to, and I will never delete my comment.)
With all due respect to your opinion, and that you must respect the cultures of others, I want to clarify something, which is that bringing a dancer to show off is something that is not constant in all wedding ceremonies in Egypt. It was widespread in the first half of the twentieth century, but among the wealthy and aristocratic classes, and then in In the second half of the twentieth century, it became a normal thing in all weddings at all levels, but now it has returned to what it was as a custom, especially for rich and financially strapped families to hire a dancer. Also, thanks to social networking sites, religious culture has spread, so many people have refrained from hiring a dancer for weddings and any other. This type of wedding does not reflect Egyptians as such. For example, in Upper Egypt or the Egyptian countryside, weddings are held in two separate places to separate women from men. Now I hope I have made the matter clear enough.
