Ma'am when I calculated e min = 1.5xdo = 1.5x18 = 27mm . But in the question, e is given as 25mm . So how can we proceed towards calculations?
If it is given in the question we will have to use that value even if it is lesser than the emin calculated by you. This is because sometimes the questions have misprints or may have a mistake. So for the exam stick to the data provided in the question. However, in actual design you must follow the code strictly and use a value within the range suggested by the code.
