Dam. That’s a big Dam. I’ll be damned 😂 Super clear water 👍🏼 I will say, I hate dill. Absolutely hate it 😂 Consider chaining the engine down. Meaning get a short length of chain (or wide strap) and find somewhere on the frame and block to bolt it to. It should have a little slack but short enough when you rev it up it can’t ever touch the bolt. We would do this with race cars. Just a thought.

MVUM layer on Gaia (Motor Vehicle Use Map) and/or OnX will show seasonal closures on FS roads in the Western US. For MT, many roads don't open until June 15th to preserve our roads (spring thaw) in the mountains, some later, some earlier, but usually a set date on the MVUM. "Open" also just means legal to drive and an open gate, bring a winch and offroad know-how. For MT we also have to deal with lots of private land ownership blocking public land, so the private block layers in map apps is useful, but look closely.

Supplies are essential. I unfortunately can’t partake in said supplies. 22 months to retirement 😂 The drop offs push my wife to the edge. It’s a no-go. Nice camp spot but old Cracker Barrel comes through in a pinch. We just stayed a 2 of them on a trip through Pennsylvania. I looked at a Harvest Host or Boondockers welcome but we would be arriving later both nights so CB it was. 😂

I hope I can get my wife to let me venture down those roads to boondock for a few days 😂 I was 2 miles off the highway in Helen Ga heading to a NF campground on I-OVERLANDER and she was flipping out because I didn’t know where it was exactly 🤷🏼‍♂️but dude in a minivan I passed said it’s a mile up the road. He’s in a MINIVAN 😂 we’re good baby, we’re good. Love the spot especially alone and the river 😍. PARKOUR PARKOUR 🤣

Went to the 4 corners in the early 80's and it was free and it should be i think. Check out the little mining towns they unique in history and have fun i'll be waiting for the next adventure
