Mishima had a nice character arc, ofc he keeps yapping about the Phantom Thieves but other than that. I love that he grows from a spineless glazer to a still glazer but has some spine on his own and not with having his heart stolen but overcoming his fear. Honestly when you look at it as trying to guide a person who's on a similar path to most palace-owners to a better alternative it becomes a better story.
