I feel like the DLC feels less like the slow car crash doomed to tragedy of the base game's plot (which your choices can make much less tragic, but even then lots of very bad things will always be in motion) and gives a bit of a break in terms of tone while still feeling like it fits the series.

As someone with 38 days worth of gameplay playing since before the reaper update and himjifall dlc, it is worth the time to play this game

Omg that Frieren plush is so adorable! Her eyes are so detailed, love it! I was fortunate enough to dub a few minor characters on the Brazilian portuguese version of the anime and can't wait for season two 😁 Also the tiny little volcarona is so precious, I think it's my favorite
