Today my instructor and I decided to fly N7602G from Springdale Municipal (KASG) to Boone County Airport (KHRO). The first landing was very smooth, but there was a strong crosswind of about 18 knots that were gusting up to 25 knots. The second landing was a go around due to those winds throwing us around. ??? What do you mean? The preflight was very thorough and was also completed. Nothing was wrong with the airplane before taking off.
What time did you drive at the West Gate to get in? I tried this past week with what I thought would be plenty of time, but cars were lined up for more than a mile down 173 and same thing on 292. No chance I was getting in.
We got to the west gate at like 8 in the morning, and we sat there for about 2 hours to get in.
