As a banjo player, my back hurts from his position. They are really heavy especially better quality banjos, that position would hurt very badly on your neck and back

They should be regulars. There's no better representation of the bluegrass style than what these folks are doing. They're born to entertain. If they don't become regulars, the Opry management need to have their brains thoroughly examined.
