A Beginner Furniture Makeover ANYONE Can Do - with a SECRET twist 😉
Hey guys! Follow along to see how I make over this outdated dresser that I found on Facebook Marketplace. This is a beginner flip that ANYONE can do! No sprayer, or overly specialized tools needed. We'll show you how we prep the piece, apply the paint, and we've got a fun secret addition that we'll be showing as well. I've got some good DIY tips and tricks in the video so I hope you’ll find them helpful. This furniture makeover was easy peasy, and it turned a decent profit too! I find sanding by the machine very satisfying. I enjoyed this part the most when refreshed the cover on one of my chairs.
Why do you tape the spot where you drill the hardware?
I think it helps prevent the wood from flaking and chipping as you drill it.

Thank you for sharing all your wonderful work. I was wondering, when you use the wood filler with some water to form a paste, can you use that technique on any type of wood? Thank you in advance.
Yes! All but particle board/mdf cause that will soak the water up and make it bubble

Beautiful work. A tip for big pieces. Put them on caster, and you can move the sides around to paint them. 😊

Fantastic makeover! It is beautiful. Tfs.
Really Lovely job however as I work in hardware and paint, it’s best not to use oil base spray as primer then top coat water base. It eventually separates and peels off, It doesn’t work correctly too especially on mdf which could have caused bubbles . Not sure if you have ESP which is a bonding product paint on wipe off and all paint will adhere to all surfaces. Living in Australia we have different products here too

I’m good with or without the squares. But honestly it made me so happy to see a hutch fully repurposed. There are so many hutches, china cabinets that are just waiting to be repurposed. 10/10👍
