    The only thing about the Wera Tool Check Plus is that the Phillips bits are not JIS screw compatible. I replace no. 2 Phillips bits with the vessel bits and it's all to go with.

    The screw holding screwdrivers ate actually made in usa like the clear platic handles they use to carry and it's much better with the ni e grip. The racheting wrenches were s disappointment for me since they put the one size for strut strap is on the big wrench. The gedore husky and craftsman have the 4 sizes I use most on the small wrench. You should pick up or order the husky so you can compare them. The gedore red quad wrench is a special one it's spline drive and does metric in one set of quad wrenches. My husky were 10 years old before I switched to the gedore never broken them and if I did just get it changed out at home depot. The husky set use to be 20 dollars or 35 for both sae and metric now it's 30 and 50. That racheting screwdriver is fairly decent. I've been using double ended Japanese bits for a long time that don't fit in us impacts without adapters but love them too much. Milwaukee makes a small 3 peice set with double ended bits that I use often that works with us drivers and yes it's ph sl ,ph s2, ph t25. The bit I like thr most from that racheting screwdriver is a c1 /c2 which is ecx or combo drive on one bit for recipticles ect. You already have that one now. The big disappointment was not doing a slotted ph2 bit on that having to use the milwaukee double ended bits instead. Somw fun finds and I hope you expand your world on the quad wrenches thoes have been around a long time. I use mine for toilet bolts strut straps all thread ect.

    Good simple explanation 👏. Line and load always confuse people since over time and brands there not necessarily in the same spot top or bottom. Have you tried thoes decora edge outlets yet? There pretty darn good and homeowner proof. I like the disclaimers but us trained people do hot work more often then we care to admit. I sure hope you tape your boxes on a 4 square with a mud ring just proximity can fault out. I sure do alot of gfis for houses that are 2 wire cloth and making sure rhe pannels don't catch on fire. Thoes horrible 3 peice boxes make me pull my hair out removing and working in them. I think the biggest thing to take away that you didn't cover the yolks arnt enough if you have a metal box it needs a grounding screw every box! Good stuff and check out thoes decora edge it makes for a good video that can help out the subs and views.

    • @Upstate_Sparky
      @Upstate_Sparky 11 дней назад

      @@MattHmm-rq6dn there’s ground pigtails with grounding screw in each box as well as both devices have tape on them. I have looked at the edge devices I do have mixed feeling about them. I just question how good of a contact that lever puts on the wire. Just like the wago vs wirenut theory but I agree that would be a good video.

      The edge recipticles hold wires so well I've broke the copper before the lever will give up if it makes you feel better. My co worker couldn't tug it out with his body weight with vice grips. Love the demos and look forward to more!

    I feel you have to spend little like the klein one or step up to something like that for your buck. I got the boxed version and gave it a shot without the plastic boxes. The issues I had were stuff jabbing you in the gut 6'4 250ish. It was bad for crouching and way hotter to wear than the boring klein canvas one. The one mod I did to all my aprons is I cut the threads to the buckles and replaced them with cobra buckles. I got a 4 pack of cheap az belts with the cobra style buckles for under 15 dollars and discarded the belts. To attach I just drilled a few holes in the strap and put a Chicago screw in itinstead of stitching it. Long story short my veto apron was given to a 5ft nothing lady helper at work that hated tool belts and it works well for her. Glad someone could use it. I feel vest or beltless bags are a better option for electricians. I'm glad it's working out for you and "does it come in black with high vis inside the pockets?"

    • @Upstate_Sparky
      @Upstate_Sparky 12 дней назад

      I don’t think it comes in black. I had a black carhartt apron, I thought it was a good idea until it got plastered in drywall dust. My go to is this apron and the MP2. And on my high vis vest I usually keep a marker, pen, tick tester and plug tester. A lot of guys in my company either rock the carhartt front apron or a hip pouch or the classic back pockets full of tools lol

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn 12 дней назад

      I already know it doesn't come in black it's kinda a joke. I do think more makers need to offer more black like Atlas46 with hi vis inside for easy to find tools. Or to remind you to clean out the bottom of your apron/bag when there's 2lbs of dirt and broken screws. I know when stuff like that gets caked in drywall dust then gets wet from sweat it's homemade concrete! The trials and tribulations of a semi dirty job. If you have issues with holes or wear forming I use to buy hide and dink leather pocket protectors with a little lip on them (they have a tool embossed on the front). They made stuff last longer and for 7 dollars why not. As always thanks for some good content 👍.

    Nice loadout. I've been pondering about becoming an eletrician but always shy away after thinking about how many codes ya'll have to follow/ know versus low voltage guy like myself who just does coax for a ISP

    • @Upstate_Sparky
      @Upstate_Sparky 14 дней назад

      @@ozzyc1396 It’s a fantastic trade to get into, I love all the different aspects of my job! Yes there are a lot of codes and it’s a revolving door, with new or updated codes every three years! But starting out nobody is going to demand you to know ALL the codes, it’s a learning process and over time you’ll remember codes and what chapter or table you can find certain codes in. Ask the foreman questions on code and if he doesn’t know then he should look it up and educate you! But don’t let that lean you away for becoming an electrician. You will learn great skills! if you get into commercial work you will start running the raceways that you used to pull your cat6, fiber or coax through. You will also bring your skills of low voltage to the table and any company should hire you on the spot! There a high demand for electricians! Go for it, I hope you do! Thanks for the comment and giving me an idea for a future video. Take care.

    We definitely like the option of hey I need that tool I get it. Insulated tools are less serous for me but I do need them and they can't get destroyed. I too use the wera for the lazer tip as Insulated screwdrivers. I like my vessel ceramic ones but they can only be in my service bag since inspectors would flag non certified yet functional Insulated screwdrivers and homeowners don't care. If thy made wera slim Insulated and lazer tip they would have the market cornered. I think you'd love some knipex cobalts if it fits it cuts even hardened steel rods or 1/4 20 bolts. The only issue is price and I recommend the 10in model much more than 8in. I too keep the needle nose fisher price pliers too people laugh but I don't care. If you don't own one get a volt claw the black one specifically. Other than having a all plastic tool it saves your hands and gives you some leverage pushing and manuliplating wire. It really helps your hands from hurting so much since I deal with 12g and 10g solid in tiny boxes. Appreciate the videos and keepem comming .

      Thanks for the comment and for the tool recommendations! I have been wanting those mini bolt cutters for a while now, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I will have to look into that volt claw. I have seen them in many videos but not the black one!

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn 18 дней назад

      The special thing about the black one is it has a slider that opens and grabs wires 14/12g solid fit snuggly. Nothing worse than dropping a hot wire on the box and causing a arc flash and much slimmer than the fisher price knipex needle nose. Keep you on rhe watch list for more videos.

Thanks for the scale tool idea I haven't seen thoes before. The fix to your klein impact bit is to get the older made in usa 32605 they still make it.

When I first got the bag I had it loaded with every tool that I needed but now with this lighter setup it seems more practical, because I wasn’t using all those hand tools on a daily basis. Now that I have a gangbox and work van i have different loadouts and other tool bags for certain things. My next few videos I will be going over those. I’ll check out that channel as well thanks!
