After watching this, I decided to tighten the seat back on mine, since it was loose. Check the support to see if it holds the seat weight. I did with mine, and now it doesn't compress unless I apply pressure.

i know its late but the plastic clip that holds the rod in needs to be rotated as having it in one way it rubs, but when you rotate it round then the rod will move freely, i came across this when replacing the window and door trim as my trim was bent out of shape

now playing catch up with the 2 accounts but will stop watching at the same video i have finished on so i dont get any spoilers, other then that great videos and ive added to the list of other builders that will be added to my next video of Stobart's

i did see on the top of the seat back you have a gap, there are little lugs on the rubber part that hocks over the inner plastic frame, this should make it look more flush, you did say about the lugs on the seat base, i have also added your channel to the list of other members that are also doing the build

Good afternoon all merry xmas

Be careful of the frame pieces 7.06 and 7.07. I had to get another issue 7 after they broke when attaching the seat back. Got the seat complete now - phew! Plus you may want to tighten the screws on the support frame after fitting the seat (issue 9) due to the weight. You don't really need water for the soft seat parts.
