Right there Andrew exposed the real 100% difference between himself (he has said he was lazy back then) and George. George would never think of his music as "disposable" but that's because he puts everything he has into it: writing the songs, arranging them, producing them, playing the instruments on the recordings, singing all the songs - while Andrew did...what? Yes, I know they were great friends but this is actually surprising to hear Andrew say something so disrespectful for all the work George did - which was ALL the work. And, obviously, his work was not disposable as we are listening to it 30 and 40 years later. I just can't get over Andrew saying that.

That’s funny that they said that they are not at all the way that they portray themselves as being in the video, because back in the 80s the whole point of portraying yourself that way was so you would sell that idea to the public, especially the kids, so you would have people latching on to the idea of who you were so people would want to live vicariously through you. This is one if those times that they seem very British and very not American. lol

That’s so funny that George lies and says that he was on the dole and also when Andrew says that they couldn’t find anyone else they really liked, George looks at him like he’s surprised or uncomfortable with what he’s saying. In a later interview George said that the record label kept trying to put them in front of a band but they didn’t want that and finally won out. So that story is different than what Andrew said. Every once in a while there were moments like that where George would look over at Andrea is if Andrew was lying or as if he didn’t like what Andrew said.

I’ve never seen him wearing two earrings! He said he always wanted to get both of them pierced and then Andrew did, but he knew his dad will get mad at him if he did. then after he got signed he went out and got both of his ears pierced and he went home and sat at the table with his dad and his dad didn’t say anything and he thought his dad probably thought that that was a normal thing to do once you were in the music industry. LOL
