Whoops Strength Trainer is weak and confusing. It’s clunky and needs a lot of work. Should be a lot more intuitive. For the amount of capital they’ve raised, it’s shocking that they have not upgraded the code for this software.
I love Whoop overall, but you hit the nail on the head. I'm a nerd for this stuff, so I'll do it anyway - but people who are not willing to deal with the clunkiness deserve to have it cleaned up!
@@serendipichris I’m 90 days in and after my workout last night I lost Bluetooth connectivity and tried every workaround support threw at me several times and nothing worked. This is why I hate trackers. I could have done 3 workouts in the time it took to do the workaround. The device is currently off my wrist lol. I don’t have time for this nonsense. It was tracking and collecting great data but if the darn thing doesn’t work, I’m not wasting my time.
@@Lion-qi8ej I totally get it! I've been using mine for 4 years and that's happened to me twice. I felt similarly, but for me it's worth that inconvenience once in a while.

I train kettlebells, 30sec work and 30 rest so every workout has different nr of tot reps, how can I track this in whoop?
I wouldn't worry about the number of reps, just use aa surrogate workout as a baseline and let the working timer run to encapsulate all sets/reps!
@@serendipichris so are you referring to auto detect? Sometimes I wonder if I don’t track anything will WHOOP automatically record the data
@@Lion-qi8ej No I'm talking about using strength trainer with a similar workout and just not updating the sets/reps for a rough estimate on strain. In the end, it's very similar and less cumbersome. I also start/stop all activities because I don't trust the autodetect!

I don't know where you're getting your scientific facts from if you actually are or not getting them for my reputable source but if you do one push one pole and one leg even 7 days a week you would not hit every muscle group so that makes no sense in my mind You also have nothing on abdominals so again it makes no sense in my mind
For compound, multijoint, free weight movements you engage your core plenty. I have not isolated abdominals in 10 years and have a strong as well as visible core! It's about "stacking" hitting all muscle groups 2-3x a week while being as effective in the gym as possible - check out the full video. There's more context there!
You realize you just said that biceps and triceps are not a primary muscle and then you simply said that if you do push pull legs you'd hit those muscles you have to use your biceps in your triceps in every one of those movements You push for your triceps You pull for your biceps kind of weird that you don't know that
That's what I mean! If you hit push/pull/legs 2-3x a week you will hit all muscle groups, including bis and tris! What I'm saying is there is the average person does not need to isolate those muscle groups.
@@serendipichris well I don't know maybe I'm not the average person then because I have to hit those groups mean I'm almost 40 years old and I'm trying for my first bodybuilding competition by next year so old school

That's the problem with shorts - in my full video I talk about who this is for and I noted that if you are trying to be a bodybuilder this isn't what I would suggest. I appreciate you pointing it out and good luck at your first competition! Genuinely would love to hear how it goes.
I've been using intermittent fasting as a tool since the beginning of January. I'm eating whole foods 18:6, plus walking 15k steps daily. I'm down 52 lbs so far. 7.5 hours of sleep per night.

@@serendipichris I've done a couple InBody scans along the way. Muscle mass is up by 2 lbs and basal metabolic rate is going in the right direction.
@@ryandoliber3146 Heck yeah! Keep capitalizing on that. If you feel energy, libido, recovery, or body comp take a turn for the worse then that might be your limit! If you never hit your limit, then well done. 💪

What are the specifics you’re trying to coach us up on? Money? Business? Women?
Great question man! I believe that experimentation is the best teacher, AKA failing forward. The areas I've experimented the most in the last 15 years are: Physical Health, Women, Personal Development, Time Management and Mental Health - they all have lessons that can be applied to the other realms. So predominately those areas!
