We have trains in New Zealand, but not near Nelson City where I live. I don't know much about them. We did have a train line here but I believe it stopped operation around the year I was born... 1955. So am I right in assuming that trams are different to trains because they don't operate on the main railway lines.. and they are generally lighter and nearly always powered by electricity?

When my wife and I visited Brisbane we really appreciated the train service. It was an economical and convenient way to travel around and see the sights. I recognized Roma Station in the video. We spent some time in the big park nearby. I have never lived in a big city and have no desire to, but it is an interesting place to visit. So thanks for sharing your video.

Thanks for uploading this. I've never seen a Stirling engine running before. It reminds me of the old single-cylinder Lister Diesel engine we had to operate our generator at our remote home. These old mechanical devices are slowly disappearing so it is good that there are enthusiastic people who are interested enough in them to make videos about them. Bombadier also built our dutch trains since de millenium change if Im right
