noki leather
Япония
Добавлен 5 май 2024
The daily life of a leather artist who continues to create silently.
I continue to create works with “simple and universal” as my subject matter.
I believe that what remains with us in the midst of the ever-changing times is not a momentary passion caused by fads, but rather, it is important to simply remain there in a natural way.
And leather products have the durability and attractiveness to make this a reality.
My videos are by no means spectacular, but I hope you like them.
There are no plans to distribute pattern.

#12 make a money clip that can hold cards | vlog | leather craft
When I was organizing my work area,
I found the metal fittings for a money clip that I had previously purchased.
Since we're here, let's make something simple.
It is a simple process of cutting and pasting more than usual, but I am happy if you enjoy it.

#11 Making a wet molded leather tray | vlog | leather craft
Просмотров 6221 день назад
Simple trays made by wet molding. It can be practiced by anyone with a commercial tray and vegetable-tanned leather. If you are interested, I encourage you to give it a try. The birds were buzzing outside that day. Great environment. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!
#10 Making a lanyard | vlog | leather craft
Просмотров 96Месяц назад
This time, for the first time in a long time, it's production for myself. Lanyard for upcoming events. I originally had the idea, but it was when I found some quirky hardware that I decided to make it. I would prefer to use my own handmade ones rather than the vinyl ones that are distributed. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!
#09 Making a glasses case | vlog | leather craft

In this video I make a glasses case. There are three subjects. Shape is maintained by the stiffness of the leather. The metal fittings do not hit the glasses. As small as possible while still being versatile. Since this was the first shape to be created, detailed adjustments were made in real time using samples. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!
#08 Make a pen case that fits the size of the notebook | vlog | leather craft

This time, in this video, I make a pen case. The concept is sized to fit the notebook produced in the previously posted video. Just the right atmosphere next to the unadorned notebook. And yet, it is convenient. Imagine such a work. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!
#07 Making a book cover | vlog | leather craft

This time I will create a book cover. The organizers used are from Kokuyo, a Japanese stationery manufacturer. Originally designed for surveyors, its size has made it a popular product for general notebooks as well. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!
#06 Making a flat wallet | vlog | leather craft

This time I will make a flat wallet. A wallet with a slightly different shape, with the gusset removed. Today, cashless payments are widespread. I interpreted the meaning of daring to use a long wallet in such a modern age in my own way. ~Music used in the video~ あたたかな灯火の傍で written by 蒲鉾さちこ Thank you so much!

Beautiful Work! Is the pattern for sale?
Thanks for the comment. Sorry, I do not sell pattern.

Nice work
Your effort really shines through on both your craft and your videos. My wife and I love watching these together and we're both excited for the next one.

Small strip of leather and four holes
Thank you for your comment. It can be made very easily. Just make a hole in a small scrap. I've uploaded a short video, so I'd be happy if you could watch it.
Simple and elegant, an amazing project that showcases your skill. I enjoyed your version of the case concept, thank you for sharing!
beautiful, I work at a bindery, the boutique department went away a few years ago, when the Book repair specialist passed away. Amazing craftsmanship brother They always told me, it takes yearsssssssss to get good at that area of book bindery
That's beautiful and so relaxing, thank you for sharing. I was particularly impressed by your skiving and it seems I have been useing my skiving knife the wrong way up, and when I thought about the similarity to a wood chisel it suddenly hit me that the effect was the same and that's why my skiving knife digs in too deeply because I have been useing it bevel side up, I can't wait to try it your way.
Thanks for your message. I hope this video was helpful to you.
👏👏👏
Cool:)
