Something happened to me after listening to this album, putting me in a state where my mind was at a distance from my body, giving it commands that it automatically responded to in a much more mechanical way than is normal. Tonight is the day after I listened to the album and something similar is happening again, possibly triggered since I was lying on my bed to listen to the album. I don’t think I really like this feeling and I hope it doesn’t last. Something about it scares me, makes me feel like I’m not in control.

I decided to try the whole trance thing and holy shit- I felt as if an imaginary liquid was swishing around my head. Side to side endlessly. I saw particles and stripes in my vision and a spottines. I could feel my stomach just sink and suddenly everything happening around me became nothing I imagined my bedroom getting smaller as if I were left in a box. I felt emotional but I couldn't cry and instead I felt them in the back of my throat. I imagined my life and everything that could happen to Me and everything that has happened. I was completely alone hands in oven mitts the only things that I had senory input out were the smell of the blanket I layered over my eyes and the music in my ears. I just laid in thought the whole time my brain trying to comprehend that I wasn't sleeping despite damn near seeming like it. I felt like I was going to sink into my mattress and never come out, now that I just finished I feel shakey and sweaty. This was heavy

I genuinely felt like i was a peasant carrying a lantern walking down a cobblestone hallway with prison cells to my left and right, and i had no idea why.

I have no idea what I just sat through. I made a blindfold before going into this and wore it the whole listen, and I think it definitely contributed to whatever experience I just had. Somewhere along the way I felt like I entered a fugue state--I remember the "music" playing, but I do not remember feeling anything or thinking anything whatsoever. I was neither asleep nor awake, but rather somewhere in between. The project is intended to induce out-of-body experiences, and I believe I achieved just that. I felt like I was on a ghostly plane, and once the album ended and I took my blindfold off, I felt completely transformed; mutilated into a completely thoughtless entity serving no purpose and no purpose serving it. If I had not listened under the right circumstances, I probably wouldn't have liked this very much, but whatever I did was the perfect way to listen to this. It's more like a transformative tool disguised as music rather than anything that even vaguely resembles music. Never heard anything like it, never felt anything like it.

After astral projecting. Listening to this after the fact, It truly feels like I shouldn't be listening to this unless I am astral projecting, and I always happen to astral project around seven minutes in.

The make of gun in question is a Model 1897 Winchester, but now for me, in any video game I play, I call it the Sit Down gun.

This first time around I lasted about 36 minutes. I read the pdf, used a blindfold, and was in a trance state for maybe 15 or so minutes? I plan on doing this again with the oven mitts, I think there were too many physical distractions and mental stress this time around. Although I'm a touch nauseous, I also feel extraordinarily calm, and my head is clear. It's weird, when in trance, I didn't feel much of anything in particular besides the dudes voice talking about death. Cool experience overall, will detail next experience when it happens.

Danger 5 needs a new season

I want to preface what I'm about to say with that I am NOT criticizing this album of music... I love it. It's beautiful, it's by a great artist, and it's absolutely a great, emotionally compelling listen. But people talk about this album like it does some weird stuff to your mind... I can't speak for others, but for me personally I just sat , listened , and enjoyed it.... Nothing 'weird' or 'trance-like' happened. Yeah, I gotta a little spacey, emotional, and lost in thought.... that happens to me a lot with drifty sounding music anyways at times? I'm not sure what people are talking about... Wondering if I'm missing part of the experience but also don't know why that would be.

The piano from the first song is the same as the haunting presence but slowed and in a different pitch
