Hey, I had a Friday day on 27th of Dec 2024 off and I with a friend (Arun) rode to Agumbe and the Lakkavalli Bhadra Dam. We went via Belur-Mudigere-Jayapura; the road from Hassan to Belur was rough, but the rest was gorgeous. We stayed at Mithila Homestay in Agumbe - it's by a lovely stream, and the food was great.
On Saturday, we went on a ride-trail-trek to the magical Koodlu Theertha waterfalls. It is around 14 kms off the Agumbe-Hebri highway, of which 8 kms is tarmac, 4 kms are jungle trails, and 2 kms of trek. But it is worth every bit, as the waterfall is out of this world.
