they pulled me in from outside of kpop bubble at the start of 2023, I was primarily listening to english bands and japanese artists. Before that I had listened to a few kpop songs but wasn't completely in yet. And now 2 years later, Aespa have been my top artist 2 years in a row in my spotify stats and I've started buying albums which I didn't used to do before this. 👀 For me its their song style mixed with each of their vocal colors that I really like, their MVs are always awesome to me and I find myself just enjoying all the clips shared online of them at events or their social media antics + reality content appearances. They make it very easy to root for them :)

"Pretty young" in the industry? This industry is not respectful and thinks that idols that are 20+, are old to debut and usual lifetime of group is 7 years (only suitable for group who has se what of success, because without it they can disband even after one month). Aespa are on senior level in terms of kpop system (they are in middle of 7 years contact). So, they really deserved all awards.

they always have been the best wdym.... u sound like they just blew up but they won daesangs topped charts most streamed liked etc in 2021/22 too just haters dragged them down cuz too successful n they were on hiatus for almost a year hence free space for new groups to blow up cuz aespa wasnt in their way. now since they r back with big bangers the other groups have a hard time on the charts this is why ppl realize how strong aespa is and has always been

They can sing live, can dance live, all visuals, have consistent and catchy songs, no drama, and have improved stage presence. They are killing it right now and it seems like they have no competition among the 4th gen groups, no disrespect.

aespa has always been creating new things in kpop and breaking records the second the debuted. black mamba: most viewed debut in 24 hours (at that time), next level (self explanatory their 2nd biggest hit), savage album was the highest sales for a 4th gen gg in a week (at the time), girls (first 4th gen gg to hit 1m sales), spicy (first 4th gen gg to hit 2m sales) and so on. every comeback they’ve outdone them self and marked their own words of “wanting to beat our own records” and did exactly that. ‼️

i've been a fan of Kpop casually since like last year with cupid, but when i first saw armageddon I fell in love (especially with Giselle), that darker concept pulled me in like a blackhole, thats why they are my ult group, i love their vibe and how they can make every concept work for them, although i gotta say that SM needs to better market them internationally because armageddon is like perfect for the western side of the world

I am sorry, I like aespa, they are my number 2 and I respect their success. But no current girl group reaches the Level of (G)I-DLE since they are the only ones really doing their own thing. They write, compose and produce their own songs and Soyeon takes control of many other aspects like their MV productions, concepts and live stages which are always refreshing and different for the end of the year award shows.

I’m not a my, only a casual listener but aespa really are a force to be reckoned with. It’s so amazing because when they started no one really expected them to be at the top of the game, especially when they disappeared after releasing “girls”. Everyone predicted they would come back and go down hill but they proved everyone wrong and did the opposite. I now think at this point they can’t go anywhere but higher.
