Beautiful car. I am a little biased as I have her twin sitting in my garage. Bought it 10yrs ago from the original owner. It was all original and untouched. Best of luck with your Coronet and thanks for sharing the video.
It was my dream to afford one for 35 years and another 5 years to find another. My first was a Coronet R/T with a 440 Mag/Auto in 1978-82, started a family. Good luck and thank you.
Thank you. The dream is alive and well! Up to the next generations to run with it. I think I will leave a Hemi upgrade to them. It is a juice you cannot get anywhere else!😜
My dad bought a 68 r/t coronet exactly like this one when i was a kid, even has the same blue on it. He still has it in his garage and im hoping that some day its going to be mine hahaha. Cheers from Finland!
@@ronclaman156 my first was a '69 Ford Torino GT with 302 Boss and 3 on the tree. It was Flintstone mobile with rusted out floor pans at 8 years old. Fast car to 100 and then done.

My dad bought a brand new 1968 Dodge Coronet with 440, what a POWER HOUSE. It was sad when he sold. I drove a 1970 Mercury Cougar with a 351 Cleveland engine. My dad & I had good taste for muscle cars.
@@randolphdevault6613 I am the same way. I don't take my cars out that often. Most people today don't even know what they are. Had a guy ask me if my 69 GTX was a Charger.
@@bobgoble2228 I was introduced to the many combinations of power and gearing. But, it was amazing how all "B" body fenders, hoods, decklids and doors were inter-changeable. I love them all, it is a spiritual thing. I will get around to showing what "Louise" can impress with. Stay safe.
Gorgeous and straight, I love the smell, can ya smell it huh, can ya? I have owned a 67 R/T since 1979, it’s family, 512 cu in stroker now, feisty as hell.
Sorry for the bad angle of the roof, it is only a "top hat" white. But, it all the original paint is just about as clean as it gets, < 38M miles. It has been a couple months and I need to put up a new video of my mistress, "Louise".
Thank you for sharing this classic B body.
That sound is ridiculously nice. Team Dodge for ever.

@@Drock-n5l I agree, their valve cadence is like music in church, spiritual!
1. Your back up lights don’t work. 2. Your brake lights are very weak. 3. Other than that, you got one cool car!

Beautiful car, would you be open to selling?
I value the car as priceless. And I have some things I would like share with my grandkids about MOPAR. Good hunting.
Completely understand, thank you for taking the time to reply!
'68 Coronet's had best tail lights ever
What iddle loop setting is that on the motor she runs so smoothly
I love this car my dream to own one in the future

Sounds great, but would like to see the rest of her!
That is pretty much all anyone ever saw of my 68 Coronet 440. A guy in a 428 Cobra Torino saw a little bit of the side once, for about 3 seconds.
I think that the Mopar Engineers knew what part of the car was going to be seen on the road! Hence, such a pretty rear.👌
Man, that fuel pump was excited for what was coming.
She is a thirsty girl. Likes 94 oct and lotsa of it.
Very nice sir! Keeping the dream alive!! Fellow Mopar nut here. 70 GtX in orange with white top. 512 ci stroker. Keep on, keepin on brother!

The rear tail light panel on these R/Ts is a work of art!!

Grew up in Ohio and loved my first Coronet R/T on ice or snow. Another advantage of limited slip Dana 60's. Hoping you get to roll in it soon.

I know of the exact car parked next to his brother's 66 ss396 Chevelle. That literally built garage around both.
Top!
Love the sound of a Chrysler big block starting.
The cadence is unmistakable!

Mine was Green LOL
Green was a popular '69 R/T color. My first was maroon, but I do like the blue and copper with the white top hats and additional chrome.

Sooo BadAss. She's a beaut.💪
Thanks for the ride. Awesome car!
First I Love Mopar muscle cars and then GM. & Ford.
Nothing quite like a big block.👍

Nothing better then good old American muscle 🇺🇲
Absolutely a Beautiful car and filming job!, thank you very much for sharing this with us!
Apparently they're too scared to take it down the road so they just have to start it and let it idle
Just too smart to put myself amongst amateurs very often. Occasionally I let her impress me in an amazing pull. Thanks.

Thanks.
Very beautiful car! Have always loved the Mopar B-Bodies! Have a 69 Coronet myself 😁
My first new car was a 69 Coronet R/T. If it hadn't been for the gas crunch in 73, I would have kept the car.
NICE sounds awesome
Thank you. 3" exhaust with balance pipe, behind ceramic coated headers. Lets you listen to the firing order and cam duration.
nice car
Thank you. She sure stirs quite a few memories every time she fires up and I hear her firing cadence!

Holy shit I'm pretty sure that first rev brought a tear up, damn sweet ride
I can almost smell the slightly rich mopar exhaust. Sounds great.
Slightly rich. that exhaust will burn your eyes right out of your head.
