This is a small mandala - 25cm hoop.

After you have crocheted the Flower of your choice you should proceed with video Part 2.

Bigger version 55cm hoop: 50-60gr (or more if your crochet is loose or you will take a bigger crochet hook) of YarnArt “Flores”, 250gr=1000m, 55% Cotton/45% PAC, 3mm crochet hook. Smaller version 45cm hoop: 65-70gr (or more) of Crochet UK yarn, 4ply, 100% cotton yarn or 50% cotton / 50% acrylic yarn, 1.75mm crochet hook.

In the beginning of the round you make SLST to next ST, Ch1 and then make ONE HDC in the same ST as shown, then you need to follow the instructions on the screen. When it says "2HDC in next ST" it is 2 HDC in the same ST (increase).

The first 4TR is right - you make Ch3 that counts as TR + 3 TR = 4TR. After that you make 4TR every time it is needed.

Hello and thank you for your kind words! All info about the project can be found in Details section as well as the final size of the mandala. But thing is that we all crochet differently. Crochet hook size, yarn, mood, loose or tight crochet - all this can affect the final size on the project. That's why I would recommend to block mandala before buying a hoop. At this point you will know for sure if it fits or not. I have never tried to make an umbrella from my mandalas so I can't recommend any of them at the moment. Hope you will find the one you like!
