Just fixed my 2017 Yeti screen following this really practical guide. Thanks for this very clear and detailed run-through. Back to perfect working condition with the replacement screen. Brilliant.

Thank you so much for your excellent guidance and clear video instructions. I had a few stops and starts but got there in the end. The replacement touch screen only partially worked but I felt pleased that it was better than before. After a week, the full touch screen started working again and I’m so chuffed I tackled something I thought was beyond me. I spent £25 instead of the cost of a new radio. Thank you again, I’d happily follow your guidance in future projects, it was brilliant.

when your in that far its worth checking the handbrake lever isnt seized on the shoe and that both pistons in the slave cylinder work , and are not leaking ,,,

Many thanks for this video. My Yeti U/S touch screen now repaired! Wouldn't have tried without your guidance. Only tricky part on my unit was removing the inner aluminium screen surround, which was reluctant to release, because the bottom edge was glued on. Everytning else very straightforward.

Another comment to say that this fix worked perfectly (for my 2017 Yeti which had the same symptoms as everyone else). I searched Amazon for the part number (TDO-WVGA0633F00039) and found several sellers. Thanks for the video!

Just done this on my 2017 Skoda Yeti.... Perfect. Thanks for the fuss free guide. I found that a plastic insert from a Bic type biro was perfect for guiding the delicate ribbon cables back into their guides rather than risking damage with a screwdriver. A magnifying glass helped here too. 😊

thanks for the informative video. i have the same problem with my yeti. nothing works on the right side of the display. basically, they only replaced the front screen (touchscreen). i wonder how something like that can be broken? could you explain this to me? greetings from austria

@brokenfixed hi bro i just change my map sensor do i need to reset it so the ecu will adapt or relearn the new map sensor? Or it is safe just to disconnect the negative battery so it will restart?

You made it look VERY easy when in fact it can be extremely hard to get this bearing out, i suggest anyone wanting to do this job watch alan howatt channel on toyota wheel bearing removal no problem for an excellent technique to remove this in an easy way.

this was helpful, BUT 2017 discovery sport has a tube, im guseeing turbo related right in front of the filler and drain plug. whats the procedure then?

found that a 1/4 drive rachet did'nt fit in the small gap for the inside screw. Had to bend back the metal bumper bracket to allow a long reach screwdriver.

Easy way to get the bearing off once the four bolts are out is to put two large bolts with a nut on the hub side,use the wheel nut holes and just do them up while holding the nuts with a spanner.This will pull the bearing out.Get a hammer a hit the hub as you tighten the bolts and it will come off.Have done this on several 107’s in the past and it works a great.Saves a lot of hassle.

Drop the lower shock absorber bolt. Makes access to bolts etc easier.

Should’ve replaced using the metal hose connector- them plastic outlets are prone to breaking !

Parece que soy el unico en el mundo al que de verdad le interesa y le gusta lo que hace porque en ningún video igual e visto que se tomen el trabajo de limpiar de verdad a fondo los metales y restaurarlos con pintura anticorrosiva y antioxidante, llegan e instalan todo encima del oxido y la tierra la suciedad osea será acaso de que yo solo valoro mi auto o al revés, a ninguno le interesa nada mas que guncione y cuando ya no de mas este auto hay que desecharlo ? Que mal.
