I love the format of this video. Please do more with other decklist. Knowing what to sideboard out/in against certain matchups is so important
@@eric8786_ KennedyHawk knocked it out of the park with the format. Gonna force banana to step up his game
My knee jerk reaction is that you've gone too heavy into healing for Anakin, i think redemption and luke are good choices since they come after Anakin but i feel like all the early-mid game healing is going to neuter his deploy.
Decklink pls
@@Wosho1982 swudb.com/deck/view/YVhjtFEIweFdk
This is a really cool idea, I don't fully love the entire unit package you have here but I'm interested in trying something similar out now!
Certainly not final yet so I’ll keep a look out for what you find for units!
First!
thx very nice helped me lot look at REX
Glad you are checking him out. Rex is rad!
@@skylord2331 glad we were able to help

@@HammerHeadBubba pour one out
fyi, you mention the cad bane deck in audio but never show it on screen
I feel like playing so many ships in Anakin basically makes his ability inconsequential. I don't think heavy space is good for him. He's about trading and most decks have more ground than space typically
He is in an interesting spot, his front side is about trading but he’s an aggro closer himself so I leaned more into having a 7-8 atk unit with overwhelm in his deploy. Space race is a good place to be aggro wise since, like you said, there’s more ground units.
I think dooku can Bé good aswell for meta right?
Why do you play Yoda without you are my only hope
I did mess with it and honestly wasn’t a huge fan it didn’t think I needed it and swapped it for something else
Great video, could you pass the links of the decks, so I can try them out?? greetings from Spain
Im sure you’ve tested chancellor palpatine with all the tokens in this deck plus Sidious’ ability. Not playing well bc he’s neither hero or villain?
Sidious requires a villainy card and palo requires heroic unit. He is a pretty high skill cap leader and rewards good sequencing.
Im trying to figure out how to get Street Gang Recruiter in here. Its a combo i love in the limited enviroment because it allows you to grab a Ma'Klounkee out of your discard and you can loop it by using it on the Street Gang Recruiter
@@kellz9972 I think bounty hunter crew would be a better way to loop ma klounkee
@@SAGACastSW great call. I always blank on that card
Loving this list fun to play
really appreciate the way you approach these decks and the discussion aspect.
Thanks
Do you habe a link for the list 😁
Added to description
Now that they have the new set available, I had used Palpatine to steal a space unit with restore 2 that had just attacked my base. I attacked with ...i forget the name....dude, on attack, can capture an enemy unit that had attacked my base this turn and is in the same area. The only unit that had attacked me is the space unit I stole....the only space unit I have is the space unit I stole....it counted "my" space unit as an "enemy" unit so I was forced to have the ship capture itself. Since the unit that captured itself is no longer in play, it returned itself to the field and this broke the Table. I could attack with it and it would never tap so I could attack with it for every action.
Deck looks so nice. I gonna play it this thursday in a local tournament!
Let us know how it goes
Great video, love the insights you are providing. Cad Bane is one of the leaders I want to try out the most as well. Would you mind posting your deck lists if possible?

Application Restart Required! 🤣🤣 Great video! Set 2 looking to be spicy!
HARK!
Chirrut? Thanks
Not in this video, sorry
Great vid man! As an experienced Han player from set 1, what were his worst match ups in your opinion? Has set 2 changes things in that regard?
My worst matchups were Luke Command and Boba ECL. - BananaCrapshoot
C3PO is expensive to play in this deck but perfect with Thrawn.
Why do you not at least use 1 bounty hunter crew?
I pretty much 100% agree with your take, Han Sabine Boba are the big 3, glad to see Luke getting what he deserves in A tier. Only disagree on Cassian, there are some reasons to run him over Sabine. He's great into midrange and control decks and doesn't run out of gas, you can to 2-3 FAC every game. I'd put him in B. Solid list tho.
Ig atleast on par with all them c tiers have playied him ecl in the take initiative league for last 2 seasons with an above 50% win rate and recently playied at exo games finished 39th outta 128 4-3 2 games i lost could of gone my way bad draw and i would of made last 8 Has best barrage in game and best steadfast for 8 damage think hes slept on a bit certainly not best and wide open to removal but hits like a truck Also decent in yellow Thanks for vid
Can’t wait for cad bane and new boba
cad bane go brrr
Thanks for the video! I play Thrawn a lot, but use a somewhat different list. I don’t use cunning, since you usually don’t (want to) encounter three units on the other side of the table. I strongly recommend the Bounty Hunter Crew, which often gets you on top in the control duels.
He talks about terms but forgets to talk about actual rules, tournament regulations 4.4 2 sideboards and deck changes. It's a small document, but it would be good to know what it says before giving out the wrong info.
What info was wrong?
What information as incorrect? I explicitly said I was not going to go into sideboards for this video. The only thing I can remember talking about was people countering mill by siding over 50. Which is absolutely legal based on the tourney regulations. Are you accusing me of getting something else wrong?
These are both rad cards!
#true
Wookie works with GI. 3 to base 2 damage to a ground unit. Next turn if they don’t out it. 6 to base 4 to a ground unit. 😊
Tagge = Tag
Next time show more the cards and less the faces pls xd
Thanks a lot. Have all cards...but Im missing the Bobbas. What cards can I replace it? Thanks
I Am Your Father, maybe Greedo or Deathrooper if you want a unit.
Loved the radlands shout out gents! Keep up the good work. Can tell you both really enjoy the game which makes it more enjoyable to consume.
Punks are people too
I love the content, guys. But you have to work on the syncing issue. Ben always seems to be out of sync with Banana and Dan. I dont kniw if it's an editing issue, where maybe some footage is cut for brevity and the same cut wasnt made on the other two or vice versa... but yeah, every episode with al three is a little off. Some more than others. And even when it's just Ben and Banana, being out of sync makes it seem like Ben is talking over Banana all the time. Looking forward to the fix!
This episode got really messed up and Riverside added buffers to all the tracks to try and sync them so Ben manually cut and edited this episode way more than we usually need to due to some weird sync issue with the service we are using. We are looking into other services to try and put out a better and more consistent podcast. Thanks for listening!
Gotcha. That's unfortunate. I hope you can find something soon. 🙂
Capture is like an oblivion ring yeah?
Not exactly but it’s similar. With capture, the captured unit is placed facedown under the unit that did the capture, the capturer? That unit now guards the captured unit, when the guard unit or capturer is defeated then the captured unit goes back to the owners control, does that make sense?
@@bananacrapshoot6469 Yeah, most people on paper put the card they were exiling under the O-Ring so I think in terms of how it's gonna look on a table it's the same. thanks for clearing it up though
What is “Get Ready”?
From a different game. Meant to write a “keep fighting”
@@MCM_Podcast I have that card cemented in my brain as "Get Ready" as well!
Really enjoyed the video, thanks for making this. Any chance you’d wana post any gameplay with the deck? Thrawn lover myself. This is the first TCG that’s really clicked with me outside of Magic. Certainly not trying to offend anyone, but I do find it a bit funny the amount of people that complain about out control decks in this brand new game. Control and combo decks in Magic over the years put anything control decks in SWU will ever do to shame just based on the nature of the game. To save yourself the comments, you are basically obligated to apologize for the “toxicity” though, and usually to the aggro player who is not interacting in any way with what you are doing lol. It’s all kinda immature in the end. But I suppose all the years of magic has made me battle hardened to it. Thanks again!
Yeah. It's funny how an agro deck that ends the game in 3 turns is cool. But a control deck that gives you 20 turns to do something is "toxic." So silly. I'll work on getting gameplay out there. Probably once the set 2 webc leagues start up.
How does this do against boba green?
Boba typically struggles against control decks. Some boba lists, since they already run ramp, are side boarding devastator and other large anti control cards in the sideboard. So it can be tougher in a bo3 format
Super dominant. One of the best matchups you can get for a full ctrl list like this.
Great video! Thrawn is my boy! Apologies if I'm wrong and hope I am but I believe, with the Avenger, you have to choose a target and then the opponent picks one to defeat so they could choose the one you're attacking. On page 22 under 3.1: Declare the attack. The active player chooses and exhausts a ready unit they control and then chooses what to attack: either an enemy unit in the same arena as it or the opponent’s base. Any abilities that are active “while attacking” become active. Then on 3.1.G on the same page: After declaring the attack, resolve any “On Attack” abilities on the attacker and any other abilities triggered during this step, including Restore, Saboteur, and “When this unit is attacked” abilities on the defender.
That’s correct and it doesn’t always happen but if people want to do some damage to the avenger then sometimes you can get the 2 for 1 on the avenger attack.
This is just my take after watching, MrBen can probably explain it better than me.
Yeah. I don't disagree with any of that. You, as the controller of Avenger, cannot force the 2 for 1. But you can make it attractive. For example, I'll send my Avenger into a big space unit. They maybe want that 5dmg on the crack back. So they kill some other unit, get me back with the Firespray in combat. I still get the 2 for 1. You're completely correct that they have to make this choice before the combat resolves. And often, they will choose the unit you're attacking, esp if it's a little dude. So it's not going to work every time. But when the conditions are right, you can really milk the value out of Avenger.
Been looking for this video! I was the Victim playing Han, deck was incredible to watch in action, and the games never felt close from my end.
We hope you still had fun even if the games didn’t feel close!
Kennedy was shaking in his boots even if it didn’t seem so!
Not that it changed much, but he couldn't play the starviper off of Vader as it has to be a villainy unit!
Dang it I missed that
Chewbacca :)
Chewbacca :)
*wookie roar*
Still finishing the video. But just wanted to note that around the 4:30 mark where they ECL’d in the Greedo and then didn’t discard a card is perfectly valid, nothing weird there. The discarding a card is optional and since you had no units that geedo’s defeated effect could be used on the AI decided not to use it
I've played a slightly different version of this. I don't have two Avenger, so I actually used the fang fighter. Deck is pretty good.
Fang Fighter is a great sub in to give you more space viability. You could even run Luke off aspect so you have a 9 drop that removes upon entering the arena!
@@SAGACastSW That is just crazy enough to work
The slide case only fits unsleeved cards. I tried it with my KMC Perfect Fits (both standard and 'Perfect Hard') and they wouldn't fit. Pretty bummed I can't fit a Showcase leader in there since I wouldn't want to put it in unsleeved...
