it's one of my favorite isekai series ever. I have been reading all chapters week by week, besides the long ass break the manwha once had. What I really liked about that manwha was the balance: balance between action/growing and also relationship development, progressing characters/arcs and storylines. All those seemed really balanced for me, when I read it I never thought: Ugh, when is some action coming again? or ugh im tired of all this yapping.. it was just smooth. But what makes me say, it's one of my favorite isekai series ever is: it uses isekai things in ways that I yet have to see somewhere else. U compare it to moshuku tensei, which is fair because it's both isekai but also not fair, because Rudy's journey is vastly different, the author wanted a complete different kind of storyflow, more: Having a failure human being getting a second chance in life AND hes a pevert, unlikable so he has to grow to become likable (for others and himself) But Arthur was not a failure is his lifetime, sure he has to grow too, but simply in different ways, he will face different trails because the core idea of his journey is different

webnovels have been my favorite form of anime media for a while now. I'd love shadow slave getting an anime it has everything a good story needs imo

i agree with your point ...my take is that all this confusion arises from them putting themselves in a box trying to tell stories in the middle of movies and tv shows they made in the past era and future era ....move forward 1000 years ....i wanna see a conflict arise between two galaxies leading to intergalactic war without some emperor ruling with power but rather 2 galaxies fighting over a precious resource that each of the participating galaxy is running out of ...star wars needs an overall plan.. the outline i just laid right now could be the base of star wars's own "Infinity Saga" ..but no, star wars just wants to stick to its precious skywalker saga ..the skywalkers were awesome ...but their time is over ...they need to stop going back there over and over again

Thanks for the review! You’re a little more positive than I am with this show my man. Not much makes sense to me unfortunately. How did Sauron convince the Orcs to turn against Adar? We didn’t get to see that. We can only assume it’s because Adar sent them to die or something. But then as we saw at the start of the season, they turned against Sauron because he told them many will die in pursuit of his goal. Didn’t make any sense. How did Arrondir survive even though he got pretty much impaled in a teary eyed moment at the end of the previous episode. That didn’t make sense. How did the orcs know where the tunnel exit was? And why did they not use it to enter the city undetected at night instead of blowing up an entire mountain? That didn’t make sense either. And on and on and on. I think this was it for me - I’ve survived 2 seasons but Won’t be there for #3.
