Learn the root of “Diet” and its history, from German term “Reichstag” to discussion in 20th century.

We will examine the 2nd mystery, “Who is the Genuine Designer of the Diet Building?”. We will consider the possibilities of YOSHITAKE Tori or KOBAYASHI Masatsugu was the genuine designer of the Diet Building with quoting some hypotheses based on circumstantial evidence.

We will examine the 3rd mystery, “What is the implied meaning of its stepped pyramid design?”. We will approach this mystery from 3 viewpoints. (1) What are the implied meaning of the Parliamentary Buildings in the World? (2) What is the hidden meaning of the Japanese Diet Building? (3) Change of the meaning of the Diet Building design - From “commemoration for ITO Hirobumi” to “a symbol of peace”

We will examine the 1st mystery, “Why the design of the Diet building is differ from that of awarded design?”. We will approach this mystery from 3 viewpoints. (1)Why the European classical dome design was not adopted? (2)Was there any possibilities of adopting Japanese style roof? (3) Why the stepped pyramid design was finally adopted?
