When am going to remake a couple of Sergio Leone movies …I’d like to cast you in it for sure,

I went to buy 6 months ago a D15 M. Amazing, but I also tried a D 28 (and a D18 and D35). I left with the D28. Again, as with ALL Martins, you can`t go wrong!!!

I own both and there’s no contest . The dreadnought wins hands down. The 000 does not resonate like a dreadnought . I’ve tried to like a Martin 000 , I owned the 000-15sm and the 000-15m and every time after playing them I would pick up my dread and hit a lick and smile . Just my opinion. Everybody keep on strumming 😊

Underrated demo. I love that you took the time to put it through a whole mix to see how it would stand out. Beautiful natural overdrive sounds. I might pull the trigger on this and go for it.

I saved up and saved up and went to go buy a D 28 I get to the guitar store and I pick up the 000-15 street master I play I actually fell in love with it then I picked up the D 28 which was literally $2000 more and I like that too but I saved over $2000 and still got a guitar that I love and then I’ll have for the rest of my life I don’t need a D 28 I love all mahogany guitars always have and yeah I’m happy with this one to be honest there wasn’t much difference in the sound but a big difference in price.

Can you please comment on the playability of the 000-15 vs. the D28? I have a D28 and love the tone but find it a bit difficult, perhaps because I do not have a large hands. Would the 1/16" difference in nut width make much of a difference? Thanks for the comment

Well that was interesting! The 000 sounded better to me in the first comparison, which is nuts...the solo flatpicking went to the dread, which was no surprise, but the fingerpicking was very close, I might even lean towards the 28!

I went out and bought a 00015M. my 5th Martin, and they're always a treat!!!

You get one of the smoothest tones out of this amp. Some of the demos I’ve heard for it make it sound like mud.

000-15 sounds beautiful but man oh man, three grand really gets you something special :)

Nice playing! I have a PRS SE custom 24 and a blues deluxe and I enjoy the smooth lead tones that combination can produce.

I sold my D-28 and bought a 00015m. I much prefer the hog for my fingerpicking style. It's a fantastic guitar, but in the end it's down to personal preference...

The tone is so so Jeff Beck !!! from you know that Jazz Funk album which is my favourite...

I own a 000-15 burst and like the tone more than the D-28.

I prefer the tone of the OOO-15M even though its much much cheaper.

They sound so different, and of the same build quality... It's entirely subjective which one sounds the best. I really like the 000-15m for fingerstyle the bass is always there no matter how hard you pick the treble, the d-28 is large and you have to go with 012 gauge strings and up for it to sound great. I play custom lights and its enough to feed an om sized guitar.
