Yes it is!
The M35i might corner better at speed and exhibit less brake fade, but it is only slightly faster than a regular X1. For $15K a hard driver might see some advantages as a canyon carver, but the average Joe gets a few cosmetics like quad tail pipes and gives up a spare tire, mileage, and a smoother ride. Jerky laggy startups the same.
The 312hp makes a big difference. I feel it more faster, more compact on the road, better cornering, and super nice Engine Sound :)
Why do you have to give up a spare tire ??
@islandknight6105 for the weight. There is no need for spare tire. Run flat tires are factory installed. Nobody is changing tires on the side of the road anymore. Roadside assistance is free with BMW for 4 years.
Did you get iDrive 8.5 ? Are climate controls any different ?
Yes, I upgraded to the New version. Now I have the Heated Seats and the heated steering next to the Temperature.I don't have to go in the menu. Also, the Climate menu looks different and the main page with the Map is different. It is easier to access everything (more user friendly)
