The Fiery water, Ice Fields, Sandy Snowfields and never ending supply of salt coming from the sea on Armin's book before.. Eren believes that anybody who witnessed those would be the freest. But with humanity outside, the world is not empty. So he wants to wipe it all away. Hence he does the Rumbling.. That's why you saw the kid Eren spread his arms wide and say "Freedom".
So sad that anime onlys will never get to experience how epic this scene could’ve been. And yet after all this, Mappa will still end up being a so called goat studio. Sigh.
The scene in the anime was soooo much better than the manga , we get 4 small panels of the rumbling after ramzi death , it’s literally the same as the manga 💀 and wayyyy more
@@Requiem0139 I’m talking about the emotional impact. Mappa did it well in terms of showing how evil Eren is and the destruction he caused. But there are more layers to this scene… imo, they could’ve kept the exact same animation but just put a different song and the scene would’ve hit on a different level. For example, “Attack on D”, when the children are singing.
@@Pwjdjskw for me the rumbling itself was done extremely well and better then the manga as we really don’t see anything of it in 131 ,however ost for sure could’ve been changed ,I think the ost they chose for showing the rumbling was amazing but when the ost changes when we see erens child appearance of him in his clothes could’ve been the perfect time to put tkt or attack on d like you said , animation wise top tier but ost for sure could’ve been changed , and as for the clouds of Eren in the sky i think instead of a bright blue sky I think the sky that was shown when the alliance was in the air with the plane was perfect , bright sunset , amazing color pallet that was also very vibrant would’ve been perfect Imo
@@Pwjdjskw or when falco was talking about the memories of him in the sky could’ve been perfect aswell for showing the Eren freedom panel
@@Requiem0139 yeah honestly everything was very well done by Mappa this time animation wise. Can’t complain there. It was just the OST, which imo is a big factor so I was a bit disappointed

Not only the greatest plot twist in the history of Anime but it's the greatest plot twist ever .
First off, AMAZING props to the guy who made the video. Great stuff. But to the people who are complaining about the scene, first you are allowed to complain I’m not saying that, but I think to those saying they RUINED the scene are wrong. I think the directors of the episode had a different vision of the scene. I understand a more hopeful scene would have been INSANE and that the and the meaning behind it, but it seems the directors wanted to portray a Haunting scene. I personally got chills with the chemo and silent piano notes. It made it seem like Eren was very lonley, which I actually really like, the price of freedom means being by yourself, which isn’t good. Idk I can see both arguments but we ended up with the more haunting scene and I for one love it. I we got the other version I also would have loved it. Point is, it’s a fake show and we all shouldn’t fight. We all claim to be fans of the story but seem to not even understand the core of the morals of it and it shows when we fight online. Either way I enjoy both very much. Have a good day :)

I know that the fights scenes of these final chapters are almost impossible to animate, that's ok, but MAPPA, please improve the manga version of 131, just do that, and this wait will be more than justified. Anyway beautiful video, good choices of OSTs!
