What an inspiration.you should be proud how far you have come.its a hard battle but it can be done.

Very inspiring mate. I know the past was never easy and growing up in Mansfield was hard but today and tomorrow will be better. You have empowered me from a distance many time. I remember years back thinking if you can do I can 👌. After all the chaos of younger life it’s sometime feels strange to realise the present is calm.

Well done mate wish I had half the drive you have proud to say I know you ,keep on keeping on

It happened to me in Houston, Texas, 1986. AA, I did the fourth step and that helped. I learned the distinction between psychopath and sociopath. A psychopath likes to hurt others. But I was sociopath, someone living my life and unconcerned with others. I have not drank a drop since, beer, whiskey, or wine. I feel grateful. I believe in the higher power. Good show.

That was fantastic ! Its so cool to hear someone start at the very bottom and climb every step and atttain the big important roles. Its essential to make a good service that the head chef knows the service user . Ive worked in mental health and homelessness and run a couple of drug groups within those frameworks but I am hopeless away from the coal face . I never had a 'career path' because I wanted to interact with the folks we were supposed to be helping. I am in total awe of your ability to move up and take on more challenges and responsibility and still be so rooted . Perhaps Ive been unlucky but whilst I never ever had a problem wirh any service user ( their behavioir was usually completely understandable given their circumstances) I often struggled to see what the hell my superiors thought they were achieving. Best of luck to you Huyesin ! I hope whatever comes next is enjoyable and bears fruit. Ps...Im off to look for the bible quote about not just giving up stealing B

Thanks for sharing your story Jan. I think you come across as a really nice, honest bloke who does a lot for your family. You said "I've never done a hard days work in my life" - I disagree! i think 8 hours a day knocking on doors and starting a business sounds like incredibly hard work. I am really pleased for you that you managed to get the topside of your problem. :-) all the best to you and your family.
