Oh man, I wonder why Sarah took Kyle into the game for this time around, especially considering how he's now not only Tom's brother but Luther and Lily's son.
I saw that the debug mode levels were in the proper order and thought "oh, it's REV01!" and then he revved up a spindash and I fell out of my chair.

You think so? I appreciate it! As for the question, they don't have to "play" the game, though that does make it far easier. If the game is in their possession, she'll be able to kill them. For example, the video after this gives an implication as to why Martin would have the game in his possession

Let's hope that doesn't happen. If it happened near the start of the story, she'd probably leave them alone since she's only after her friends. At worst, trick them into mailing her to her collegues@@Liminalnothing

Okay, using warp rings as Gaster Blasters is something you should pat yourself on the back for.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked that choice. Little fun fact; the sound they make is the regular Gaster Blaster firing sound but with the ring-loss sound overlaying it

I based this Sonic design off of his backstory from Sonic The Comic where he used to be a brown, spiker hedgehog with blue sneakers
