They had a lot more excavators here last time to fly around.
Some days I'm to jittery to really do anything decent.
I guess I got to close to the hawks area or something.
Lol things never go to plan but it works.

Tiny whoop, Ascend!

Made this a month or two ago. Kind of poor quality Video from 65mm tiny whoop, 25mw with worst possible antenna. Audio refuses to record from earbuds. Really enjoying the whoops. Cya later peeps.

This quad has been giving me problems for a while. Decided to just reset Betaflight, but the issues still there. Accidentally put on the props on backwards, which was a first for me. Changed to stronger motors.1404 3500kv to 1404.5 4500kv. I like flying here because all these buildings are up for lease. 4th battery was actually good but my vista/goggles glitch and didn't record. How are you DVRing? First DVR i've seen on youtube that actually looks like your live view in the goggles.
Yep you are right, this is what I see in the goggles. Most goggles have built in dvr/recording. A lot of people either turn off there OSD "white screen elements" or they have a video transmitter that records onboard without OSD. Hopefully that made some sense.
I only have one freestyle quad, and every flight feels like a higher inconvenience like this. So much, so much pain.
A lot of times for me it's little things like forgetting to charge goggle batteries, bent props what not. Best tip I have is to stay organized. If you break a lot of stuff maybe get another identical quad.
I feel you though, really gets annoying.
Are you changing your prop direction when flying upside down? How you do dat?
@@3Blades Yes the motors stop and turn the other direction. It's called 3D mode in beta flight I believe. There's a few things to set up so you'll have to find some videos on it.

Hmmm. I'd probably have to say watch a bunch people who really know what they are talking about about. JoshuaBardwell , CiottiFPV , MadsTech , etc. I'm not great still but after a few months I can confidently build and setup and fly.

Hey thanks for the nice comment. It can be an expensive hobby to start and maintain. Sometimes you can find some nice used gear for cheaper. Best of luck!
Yep 1% flying, 99% watching others fly on youtube - waiting for a new VTX after my last one decided it didn't like muddy puddles.

i use a direct mmxcx conection to my vtx antenna. Used to have that problem a lot with pigtail. Now i dont

It's called Casey, it's kinda expensive because it's from GoPro but the fit was to perfect I had to get it.
Yep, this has been my last week of flying. My main bird is down for a week while I wait for the new vtx. Honestly the AKK x2 ultimate is really great for 30 ish bucks canadian.
Hopefully you get it up and flying again soon! I'll check out the Akk vtx's I know they got a whole bunch.

I'm not doing anything special that I know of. Rapid Fire, Luminier circular stubby antennas. Whoops is raceband 8 at 25mw with regular dipole antenna.

For actual physics/feel, I like Ai Drone Simulator the most. Best overall probably Uncrashed.

What’s your goggles and remote looking like
Radio master pocket, I like the size of it. Googles are Hdo2's I found on FB marketplace, super light and comfortable.

Fatshark Hdo2's. I can only compare them to my DJI Integras but I really like how light they are.

@@allanfolkes8723 They are fully tightened, directly to the carbon. Sorry if I misunderstand what you mean.
You ever have that problem with a missing screw and you look all over for it... and an hour later you find it stuck to the motor bell?😅

If your motors don't sound good at high rpm, replace them. I am using RCINPOWER 1506's on a 4 inch and I had a runaway due to bad motor bearings. If new motors sound like that you should RMA them.
I think if they sound bad, it's partially from the 3035BN props, the 3052's sound a lot better. Im going to keep that in mind though since it has done a lot of strange things lately.
@@lolthekidison Spin the motors by hand. If the bearings are good, they should have a smooth even tone. If they sound gravely, the bearings might be failing. If they get bad enough, they introduce a lot of vibration which can overwhelm your flight controller. After a flight yesterday, I have one motor that now sounds like a zipper when I spin it. I don't know what that's about.
@oneRella These motors are particularly notchy compared to the Happy Models I used to use, but still perfectly smooth. The issue was the same with the previous motors as well. It could definitely be something bugged with the gyro.

Dynamic idle of 35 should be plenty. I’m not sure you’re going to enjoy of the feel of the quad with dynamic idle set to 65. Could you try increasing your anti gravity gain and letting us know if that helps?
You are right it doesn't feel as good to fly with higher idle. I'll certainly give anti gravity a try!

Oh wow I really appreciate that! You can set a switch to disable 3d mode. I just run 3d props all the time now and go between modes when I want.
@@lolthekidison that's badass man, thanks for that info btw.. will be nice to be able to fly acro and 3D with the same quad.. wasn't sure if it would still grip/feel like regular freestyler or not with the 3D props
Sorry I missed this. They might be a bit louder than normal but otherwise are great still. Check out ZoeFPV, she's the queen of 3D, lots of great info from her.

Ive noticed... that if you hit the arm quad button and slowly throttle up past 0 (the center deadband) it will arm. Or atleast mine does... After a while, its just like driving a car 😊 Looks like a good build you got there.
Totally agree. Even when I try to start in the center I end up having to arm that way. I might change a couple minor things about the quad but I like it a lot, appreciate the comment!

3d mode is scary i see you are using the pocket do you like it and is it your main radio? id suggest an analog basher quad for experiments thats cheaper in case of bad experiments :D
I like the Pocket alot, I also have a Jumper T-pro but don't like the buttons/switches as much. Your right I really do need a basher quad!
