If you want a better F100 experience, start by not pushing the engine to WEP from the get go. Set it to 100% or close, wait for the fuel consumption to to stabilized (via cockpit) then push to afterburner. The game already does that, thats why its so slow to gain speed when you just start, meaning that although you see the flames, your not actually in afterburner yet. If you do that in the real F100, the engine would just stall.
