Went to Dorr to film their SRNB for the Allegan County monthly test. This siren is by Dorr Fire department and township offices. There is also a Model 2 on top of the fire department. I don't know if it is real (since it doesn't have any marking on the Michigan Statewide Siren Map) but it looks cool. I will post a picture of it in my posts. After taking a look at Byron Center's SD-10, I then decided to do some commentary on this inactive Model 2 on top of what looks like a cell phone tower or some kind of signal tower. Could be for something else. Siren is located by the Wyoming City Hall. Enjoy!

Last test of the year for Kent County. Me and my Dad listened to this SRN in Northern Kent County today. My dad recorded while I listened for it while doing school activities. Was noisy from a distance. Ran for normal 3 minute alert and was on time. Siren is located by the Sparta Water Treatment Plant. Decided to record another one of Walker's DC's for the first Friday in August. This siren is located by 2785 Elmridge Dr. NW in Walker Michigan. It's one of Kent County's older SRN's being installed in 1989. Ran for a rare 4 minute alert! Sirens in Kent County are tested on the First Friday of the month at noon (12:00 P.M). It just so happened that me and Austin from WarningSirensOfMichiana both got to record this DC in Walker today. 3 minute alert as usual. This siren is located by Zinser Elementary in Walker and Kinney Avenue. Me and my Mom ventured out to Cedar Springs to record Cedar Springs doing their noon blast. Cedar Springs has two other sirens that go off with Kent County on the first Friday at noon, which is this Friday! This siren does noon blasts Monday through Saturday at noon for roughly 15 seconds.

I journeyed out to this DC in Wyoming for the First Friday in June. It is located on 36th Street in Wyoming by the Fire Department. Was pretty loud from a distance. Sirens in Kent County are test on the First Friday of each month at noon (12 P.M).

Decided to kick off siren testing season in Kent County by visiting this SRN in Grand Rapids. It's located by the Grand Rapids Township Fire Department and Grand Rapids Township Park. You can hear an Ambience shortly before the Siren starts up. Sirens are tested on the first Friday of each month, April - October at noon (12:00 P.M.).
