You completely skipped the entire part of lining up the mesh on the gears man!

You mention if the motor is too tight. How do you know if you have those gears too tight (too close)?

Turn your timing back to factory settings. Get yourself some good batteries. SMC, China hobby line. I will guarantee more speed. Then you can gear it up but always keep eye on Temps

Do you push the motor all the way in?

So how are you supposed to change the pinion gear if the 2 top screws DO NOT want to move without drilling from out and screwing up the screws themselves?

Sorry, I know this is not the place but I can`t find any info anywhere about my issue. I`ve got the Xmaxx and today, I wanted to go on a ride, batteries on transmitter are full but it does not turn on at all, tested the batteries on another transmiter from my summit and they work just fine. What may be the issue and how to fix it. Never seen a transmitter go bad. I have a model from like 12-13 years and the transmitter is rock solid. Please give an advise.

I don’t have time or much ventilation where I live (tiny apartment complex) so can’t really do shoe goo without getting light headed or massive headaches etc… What’s better? T. rex tape or gorilla tape? 4x4 rusty vxl and e revo 2.0 btw

Liquid electrical tape has been a winner for me.

What kind of cable adapters did you use to connect the motor to the esc? Are they 6.5mm female to 4mm male bullets? I just got into the Hobby, upgrading my Hoss to 4s. I'll be running the Maxx motor with the Mamba X esc.

Waiting on a 140A Max10 sensored combo for my Kraton 4S, can’t wait to get this thing rocking and rolling. Nothing bugs me more than twitchy acceleration, especially after building a race buggy and loving the feel of sensored. Sensorless just feels bad now for my fast off-road cars! The cool bit though is that sensored setups have been getting cheaper - believe it or not I got my aforementioned combo for $138, on Black Friday, but it’s normally only $175. Few years ago sensored 10th scale combos started at like $300.

I have been using these long cheap hex screws as hinge pins from aliexpress for 4 months now, I guess Im either too good jumping the car or I dont jump high enough lmao. Good vid

It would also help of Traxxas for the price you pay, would send that setup sheet programming with the menu button. Like endpoints, and the whole list you have. I bought mine 6 months ago and it only had the diagrams and and esc modes. I.e. Forwad/Brake, Reverse, training mode. Where did you get the page to use the menu button to change all the settings? Thx in advance.

so what is the telemetry stuff you got rid of if you kept the tqi transmitter? im assuming that keeps the gyro too right?

is the tqi compatible with the castle esc system? was hoping to keep all that when I switch over?

Great job. It's so nice when people share their knowledge. The poping sound you hear when you plug in the battery ? It happens to me too with just one battery. When you plug in your 2nd battery your completing the circuit same as with one battery. I really don't have an explanation why the spectrum ESC does this but it's normal. Thanks for showing us how to bring up the punch level. I was almost going to just pick up a programing card to do this but now I can save $30 for something else. 👍

It would be cool to see some jumps and flips and bashing/speed runs with the car's pov
