I seen your other video you got the Jackery 2000. What solar panels are you using for that? Also, did you get it with the intention of spending another $1000 for the back up battery? Costco has a sweet deal for the 1000 plus. With the back up only being $500 on Amazon with a $90 coupon. And two 100 Watt solar panels being able to charge it better than on the 2000 plus, was my decision maker 💯

These Chinese made, non-UL approved, high frequency solar generators are ok for powering small loads like laptops, charging phones, lights and fans, but were never designed for reliably powering high inductance loads like full sized refrigerators, large power tools, portable AC units or full sized microwave ovens. You might be able to start and run some high surge loads when these solar generators are new, but every time you fire up one of those inductive loads, you're shortening the life of the MOSFETs in your solar generator's inverter. High frequency solar generators run much hotter than low frequency, transformer-based solar generators which makes the low cost, off spec, Chinese made components such as capacitors, diodes, resistors and ICs that are used in the cheap inverters that are used in these solar generators, far more prone to early failure. Another major consideration with these high frequency, transformerless solar generators is safety. All it takes is for one of their MOSFETs in the inverter's H-Bridge circuit to short to ground or the waveform control circuitry to fail, and these units will can dangerous, high voltage, high amperage DC current straight to your connected AC loads which will not only damage most AC appliances but can also set those AC appliances on fire. A far better alternative is to invest less money and purchase a hybrid, low frequency, transformer based inverter charger and an LFP battery and build your own real solar generator. Low frequency transformer based solar generators last many years longer than these toy high frequency solar generators, and can easily power high surge loads without being damaged and without damaging your appliances. That's why the big name brand inverter manufacturers like Schneider Electric, Outback Power, Sigineer Power, Victron Energy and others, all use a low frequency topology in their offerings.

im getting away from instant tents and instant canopopies. they take up too much packing space as well as weight in my suv. i already stop taking my instant canopy with me camping and got tarps instead. soo much better! this tent is in my radar for sure.
