Have MBTI stereotypes made you unsure about your personality? Compact Cognition creates easy-to-digest shorts on the core motivations of each cognitive function, by combining theory with real-life examples.
The Hidden Morality of xxTPs: Debunking the Myths and Revealing Their True Nature! @omokok1877
Are xxTPs Immoral Rebels or Surprisingly Moral Geniuses?
I talk about the streotype that: "xxTP types, lack any sense of morality".
I believe this to be a myth, based on a widespread misunderstanding of how Introverted Thinking (Ti) actually works.
High Ti users do have a personal integrity system, but the way it works differs to that of Fi users.
xxTP = ISTP, ESTP, INTP, ENTP = High Ti Users = High Introverted Thinking Users = Introverted Thinkers.

I hope this fulfils your request of a comparison of Ti & Fi @omokok1877

When function descriptions aren’t specific enough
My Ti likes precise language. Fe can he polite at the expense of nuance. But sometimes nuance is polite.
Fi/Te types: be explicit with what you mean! Fe/Ti types: finally stops babying their Fi & hits them with a summary of hard observations on FiTe character. Fi/Te: 🥺🤯🤬 HOw cOuLD yOU SAY THAT TO ME?!?!?! That’s not even close!! Fe/Ti: 😑 *dead silent (BECAUSE YOU ASKED!!!!!) …. i’m sorry.
i watched and love all you videos! so thought provoking is that a nasheed? so rare to see in english speaking contents without being islamic, im a muslim too
Hi Johnson, thank you, it is indeed the intro to a nasheed. nice to meet you 😀. I apologise that I haven't made many videos recently. I have been overwhelmed, but this should change soon enough.,
Jesus is Lord. He will help us to cast this demon out. Amen brother✝️☝️

You have such a calming voice, dang
Does this mean you use the eight function model?
I’d love to hear more about this. This is a very interesting thought. I noticed implementing systems into my life has made my days easier, despite having adhd. I’m curious to know more and I’ve just subscribed.
This was a suprizing find! I am glad to hear this and give me a perspective to ponder and analyse!
I'm glad it did that for you, I want to make it easy for people to understand the functions
You’re a madkhali 🤡
Very cool. I'm interested in INFJ shadow functions. Look forward to learning more about myself and others. Happy Thanksgiving.
So many instructive content is this channel, I dont understand why it isnt growing
Because I'm not consistent enough 😂, I blame my ADHD
Make that most TPs, we all know these tricks if we know what an electron is :D
You’re probably right 😁
That's what makes MBTI interesting to me, I'm looking to go full Ti today my guy@@CompactCognition
Fi is morality. Fe is ethics. Ti is logic. You can logic your way into morality but it won't always work. Fi has a fundamental understanding of it that's missing in Ti types. It's not about black or white or grey areas. It's about what's the absolute goodness which since you are muslim I'm assuming you already have a guideline for it. However, what if you didn't have this guideline?
Then I would use Ti to look at the world, observe events and see how things are affected logically. For example, people the idea of casual sex, but observing society, casual sex has a net negative effect on society as a whole, so even though I might desire it, I would avoid it for the sake of the "Bigger picture". This is how my Ti works with my Ni tho
It's easier to be with someone who gets you and is physically and emotionally compatible with you. For example same quadra relationships are usually disastrous. Like an ESTJ with INFP would never work out or ENTJ with ISFP because they share the same functions. They will be competing with each other to get the same thing from the other and end up feeling contemptous instead. ISTP golden pair is ESTJ. Silver pair ISTJ. Bronze pair ENFP (most fun) Superego INFP (not recommended) Pedagogue ESFJ (no emotional compatibility) Generally for sexual compatibility you need Se with Si. Enneagram and shared values are also important.
I’ve never found any comfort with ESTJs lol
I don't know I think it depends. My ENFJ sister doesn't care about effort or intent. She only focuses on the end result. If you watch C S Joseph's videos his ENFJ dad also said the same thing to him. They care about the end result and getting it right the first time. Not sure if it's enneagram related or Si trickster and Te demon (shadow function) of the ENFJ.
I’ll have to look into this. Thank you
The background music is annoying. Can't concentrate on what you're saying. Both Fe and Fi types will do that because feelings of others are taken into consideration. Te and Ti not so much. An ENTP I know experiences so much road rage. He's absolutely awful to pedestrians and other drivers sometimes.
Reveal the shadow
Hello, INTJ here. I found your prologue very interesting and look forward to further videos. Thanks.
Reveal the shadow
That is a very useful recontexualization of the inferior function.. Further, my inferior function seems to be frequently better than those people who don't have the same function in their top 4.
Thank you, I’m glad you also see it this way 😊
I think this is one of the biggest misunderstandings that turn people off typology. Good, concise clarification. Glad you’re still at it.
Thank you 🤙🏾, I’ll do my best 😉
Reveal the shadow
How cool! It seems as if Ni seeks more consistency compared to Ne.
Most definitely, Si provides the consistency for Ne users

@@danielbecannen5722 perfect, the series is starting in the coming weeks, I’m wondering if I should break it up into shorts. Or put a few together easy time in videos (about 5 minutes long each)
@@CompactCognition I’d say, feel free to put it out however is most convenient for you. Just one mans opinion.
@@danielbecannen5722 thanks. I think shorts is a little easier for me at the moment so will go with that for now 👌🏾
salam bro ;)
Wasallam 😃, I hope you enjoy these videos
Cheers man
No problem at all 🤙🏾
You’re one of the most fascinating and accurate minds in typology, and I hope you make more content. I’d love to hear your thoughts fleshed out further.
I really appreciate that, I hope I can stay consistent this time 😅, also, your stuff on here and on Reddit is top notch
I like your examples.
Thank you, are there any particular cognitive function topics you’re interested in?
@@CompactCognition I would say extroverted intuition. 👍

How would be from fi ti perspective then?
Well Fi is intertwined with Te and Ti is intertwined with Fe, but a caveat is that if you're an Fi or Ti dom, your Fe vs Te appreciation may be a little more balanced.
I realise a better example would have been if person B came like 6th or 7th place, because 2nd place is still objective high, and will still garner some respect from a Te user. The idea is the individual that would get the MOST respect, is what differs. Both A & B will be respected by both, but for the different reasons mentioned.
My Ni reminded me of this: It's like Jesus telling his followers that the old widow had given far more money as a donation than anyone else. The widow gave 100% of the money she had while others may have been giving something like 1% or below of their wealth. A Te user might say that the widow didn't give more because there were people there who gave 2 coins instead of only one.
Precisely 👌🏾
The thing is that when a person creates an email and adds many recipients, it is not the fault of the sender if one of the recipients chooses to "reply to all". Therefore, the person to take up an issue with is not the creator of the email, but other coworkers who click on "reply to all". For this reason, I don't think this is an accurate depiction of Ni.
There was no reply to all here, I included a completely different group of names in my email,, my point is that an Ni user sees a few similar traits and assumes everything is the same, whilst the Si user will care more for the details. So the point I'm making is that even though I didn't reply to all, a lady saw "Lots" of names on the reply and assumed that I did, so I'm assuming she's an NI user. Most people dont send an email to many people, so Ni see the low probability of that and doesn't even consider it as a possibility. And to an Ni dom, a 10% chance of something happening is often the same as a 0% chance of it happenin
Certificates and qualification means nothing to me-infp
Yeah, he definitly only means Te doms. Fi is more like, Out of the information the certificate shows (Or any information gathered through concencus) I have chosen to only like 'this'.
Yeah, for Fi & Ti doms it's slightly different because Fe & Te are at a similar level to each other
Good explanation 💥
The difference is subtle! Usually in the source of their confidence imo. With experimentation Se-Ni has confidence bc they know that they *instinctively* know how to bring to life what they are visualising. Ne-Si relies on previous experience for confidence. As well as their ability figure out what all their options are. Observing both. Se-Ni seems more confident with improvisation. Ne-Si gets a bit flustered when they are pressured to narrow down their options and take action - like Kevin in this clip 😄
Makes a lot of sense, I would add however, I’ve noticed that high Ne users seem to be able to talk their way out of almost anything.
@@CompactCognition yeah im an entp and im sure that's how I come across but I'm just throwing options at the wall and trying to see what sticks lol
Also you sound you're from London which is where I am so if you're looking for locals into mbti let me know. I just realised you can't dm ppl on YT lol
@@britneysham1232k10 ahh, interesting, I think Se users kinda do the same with their Se, trying random tweaks until something worksc

What movie is this? That's hilarious 😆
I think it’s rode along or ride along 2
@@CompactCognition thanks!
BRO HAHA, It's funny how you used the batman-joker example, cause I talked about it with my ESTJ friend and just like you explained, I see it as dumb, while he saw it as moral (so batman doesn't get any comfort in killing and kill too many people). Oh yeah, I'm an ESFJ dude
Lol, thanks, I always found it so strange growing up that the standard for a superhero is to NOT kill the bad guy that is killing people, ISTP here 😉
I appreciate how concise and stylish your videos are.
Thank you, Edit: Just seen your channel, I appreciate that coming from you
That’s interesting. I never thought of that. I’ll keep an eye out for this sort of thing.
@@bustanfi6314 thank you very much, I am indeed an ISTP, nice spot.
Infp here 😶
Nice, ISTP here ;)
Omg you have LITERALLY described my own experience. From top to bottom. I was an ESTJ too! Then same with me I knew my personality had changed - lo and behold, when I did another test I got INFP - the very opposite. However, I did recognise some ESTJ moments with me. It was almost like that side was was brought out by certain people I interacted with. I discovered CS Joseph too over the third UK lockdown. I realised that I am truly an INFP but perhaps with a developed ESTJ subconscious. Or it's possible that I have an ESTJ focus. It's honestly so interesting and really revealed a lot to me about my self. Many things started to make sense. I am still researching however. But i'm glad to see someone finally be honest about their journey in that people can actually end up being a different personality type as they mature / get older. Thank you!
Im glad you can relate
Nice introduction. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts about types and functions.
Thank you, I have quite a bit to say 😊
I'm just wondering because I didn't catch that message clearly I think, at the end of the day what's your personality type bro ? Intp or Istp, and what are some of the cues which influenced you towards the result ? If you don't mind !
Thanks for asking, I'm an ISTP. And I will hopefully speak about it in other videos, but understanding the trickster, child and parent functions
Great video.
Thank you, what did you like about it if you don't mind me asking?
@@CompactCognition You're welcome.
