I've probably only ran maybe 6 batteries thru it since I went brushless. For a 2wd I still love it my only complaint is the flimsy body after a few good drops on its head from a failed backflip or two and it's already cracked and falling off the rear body post but that's more my fault that the truck I think im going to just get a regular body post kit for it and a stampede body or something.

Mainly because I'm cheap lol. I had almost everything for it so im only in it like 50 bucks so far with the body and few other cheap items I needed. Plus I have a full build with my other truck. I'm planning on getting a few upgrades for it like shocks and some cheap brass that it.

Thanks. Im kinda liking the smaller trucks, i have a few other big rigs that are sitting in need to work on too. This one is cool im waiting on a few more upgrades to come in to make it even better.

Ill have to check i think its a 21 due to the motor i chose i only had 1 pinion that would fit. Since then i have found a spacer they make for the gorgon to space the motor out so the wires dont hit but i have been happy with the way it is so i dont want to tear into it yet.

Its a higher quality servo all around, its brushless, metal gear and higher torque then stock seems smoother and holds better under stress.

Did it work with the stock ecm?

I feel like Its worth it, I've bashed the heck out of my slash since i put these and they hold up well. I'm running a 4s spektrum system in it right now and have no issues.

Yea ive seen a few im not ready to get that yet but maybe in the future. Once i put spacers in the servo mount it made it alot better and im pretty happy with it at the moment.

This is perfect as a 2wd I've had the Slayer Pro thats the 4wd version and they are both cool in their own way.

Yes u can bind the receiver to another remote but u won't have the AVC that's within the receiver itself. I've had no issues with my servo yet and i jump my typhon to the moon and bash the heck out of it.

The link doesn't work but i was able to look it up i feel like that could work being that the wires come straight out the back so it wouldn't interfere.

I know it its crazy. Ive been surprised how capable it is especially now that ive added a few parts. Ill see what i can do about the 4tec i should have some footage i can put a video together i haven't driven it in a while its currentl broken on the shelf lol.

I got rid of that rig a while ago it just ended up sitting because u need the right time and place to run it. but i'm pretty sure some of the parts are interchangeable but not all of them.

Yea it would have been nice if they came out with a clipless kit for the nitro slash so we wouldn't need to modify them but seems like we are always modifying something on our RCs.

@@TexasBasherRC My slash is permanently broken... every time I fix a thing, something else breaks RIP.

I love my typhon i've only driven a kraton 6s once and it was pretty sweet but both are cool in their own way. I bash the heck out of my TLR typhon and it just takes it have only had to replace tires and an upper shock bolt that's all and i send it like 30 to 40 ft.

When i did the conversion i just went with a transmitter receiver combo from Jenny RC so i didn't have to bind anything but i have heard if u the the right receiver it will bind to the factory remote so u can keep the one that comes with it.

As of now im still running the AA batteries but i plan on adding a hump pack and no fail safe i haven't broke down and bought one yet.

So far i really like it especially now that i brushless upgraded it. but even stock it was fun.

Nice man yea i couldn't pass it up the blue one is pretty cheap being it doesn't come with the battery or charger which i had already anyway. The motor i went with was a Reedy 3300KV out of my old drag DR10 i had dont know the measurements but im sure u could find something on the team associated website or next time i tear into it i'll take measurements. The new axles came with screws so i used those.

Yes it does but being this is a 2 wheel drive version only the back wheels have brakes so it skids if u lock them up going fast

Thanks. I wasn't really a fan of this truck so i ended up trading it for a TRX4 high trail and a few other things. i usually just run my 8s mojave exb or typhon i feel they handle better.

Thanks. it's a blast now it's just the right amount of power i just need to invest in more bodies, i've just about destroyed the one that came with it landing upside down 😂.

Nice man, Yea i smoked the stock motor trying to run it on 3s lol. I love it now that i upgraded it i left stock spur but just put the pinion i could fit with my setup im not able to clock the motor very well because of the motor i have but still sweet. I found a set of motor spacers online that will push the motor out a little and i think i can start playing with different pinion's after that.

I just build for myself for fun but i hope soon to build a version 2 in a little more detail video to help someone build their own.

To be honest i wasn't a fan of this truck. Maybe i didn't have it set up correctly but its an experience of its own. It rolls over a lot.Its fast as heck but i would prefer my Mojave EXB over this any day.

No it doesn't come with any fans. i've sense put a set of fans on it just because but for the most part on the stock gearing running 6s i have yet to need a fan it gets a little warm but nothing i was worried about.

Thanks. I think it is possible, I know a lot of the SC bodys are the same size and design so it could probably be retrofitted to a variety of trucks there is also a kit for the 4x4 SC, im planning on trying one on my 4x4 slash soon.

I haven't tried those batteries. I have a set of Zee 3s 6500 soft case batteries that fit well without the body having issues, but even with my Zee 6S soft case battery if i dont have the cables just right it will push the body a little.
