Not normally a fan of pretentious guff but Wong Kar Wai has a great side-line in it. This film is captivating from the opening minute, though I have to say, I prefer the original over the redux.

Marketing industry was always keen to take all they could from the directors with a well developed style. Look at Scorsese or Wes Anderson.
Months, it took me to recover from this film. It still troubles me and I saw it 25 years ago.
Darth Vader ... I'm a bit squeamish and don't think I could see it then if it's going to have me having to recover from it .
Darth Vader ... nevermind ... I just saw a video where they explained everything including the tragic real-life of the bullied actor ... very sad , really very sad .
