I don't like it as much as I used too, not happy with the changes that KEARTH has had recently, its more known for Oldies 60s and 70s, not rock.... now its more 80s with only few 70s songs boo

WOWO was an institution in our house! My favorite jock was John Cigna who anchored the evening shift. Anybody remember his "Cigna Six-Pack"? My folks were Bob Sievers fans. WOWO played top-40 of course, but my older siblings went for WLS, and CKLW after dark. Even before the WLIB ruckus, WOWO had lost much of it's popularity.

Hey, that's the musical bed that its competitor at the time, KODJ (now Jack fm), used for its jingles. I definitely remember that musical fanfare, and oddly enough, they both came under the same ownership of CBS radio, so they decided to keep K-Earth on, since they've been around longer.

Ohhhhhhhhh.... now I see what you mean, Tyrone. My mistake. That was a rendition of the DB-YTE closing logo done by Lamont Meeks, who goes by SuperLamont on RUclips. He was responsible in adding that RW part at the end. Personally, I much prefer my original DB-YTE closing logo that my friend Professor DLC did for me many years ago.
