Hey Johnny Ray, this is Garry. I have a young man named Aaron Macdonald he is 18 and comes from a simular story as Dan he is currently homeless but is starting a non profit and currently working with cocoon house to help others get appropriated help from others getting sexually assaulted, and help through a hot line. Can you possibly talk to him and help him to get connected to the "pod cast lady " , because he has others who are with him ( youths ) who are also homeless. There's an need to help the youths and what better than a team of youths?! I've sent him to Dan's house but all I get was Amy screaming from the car which my back! Please, can you help?

I appreciate your insight, and respect your point of view on this. But I will disagree with the notion that Suboxone is destroying lives. Yes, I understand people are dependent on this medication. But this is totally different than addiction to Heroin, Oxy, or Fentanyl. People are able to stabilize their lives on subs, like getting a job and repairing relationships, etc. IMO, Suboxone is helping way more people than hurting people. And also, complete abstinence from any chemical/substance is not realistic for a lot of us. People shouldn't feel guilty taking Suboxone if it keeps them from stealing money to get their next fix. I don't know why the anti-MAT community gets so angry at individuals that take a different approach to recovery than they do. For some people, the 12 steps works great for them. And I am truly happy that they can stay clean for whatever works for them.

So I gotta be clear on something there absolutely are people who are predisposed to diabetes and cancer or parkinson's ect and they know this and know there are certain things they need to do to prevent it from becoming a active disease in there future ( example people predisposed to diabetes are told to watch sugar intake,. Don't smoke ,. Watch weight ect). Yet there are those who totally ignore those suggestions and at that point are absolutely aware that the choices they make will effect there health yet make the decision to do the harmful things that then put them as a full blown insulin dependant diabetic same with predisposed cancer cells they should probably abstain from drinking drugs smoking cigs ect and there are many who don't then get cancer at some point and there decisions to ignore suggestions given may have caused that so to say people with diabetes or cancer didn't choose to have the disease but addict's do I strongly disagree. And honest speaking I know way more diabetics who actually make terrible choices regarding there disease therefore causing them to be hospitalized have limbs amputated ect. Point is it was said n the video that addict's choose addiction but people with real diseases don't choose. Many people do just as addict's so just playing devil's advocate here and with my background in the medical field I've seen everything I'm saying first hand.
