Very soothing and natural. After listening to the Country music of the United States of America i strongly believed it was created from the this sakara music they heared from the slaves taken from Yoruba land the Americas. RIP Baba Yusuf Olatunji
Tears always welled -up in my eyes each time i listen to this great music. I want to thank my dad for always playing his song and that of Ayinla Omowura. My late Dad always relish his times as one of Ayinla's early back up before he left to learn automobile engineering. I would gladly tell God to return these three men back to this world if he asked me three should resurrect. I would love their music till my death.
My late father loved this musician so much that he had to listen and dance to it every night, rubbing his tommy and always happy. Thanks 🙏 for bringing both of their memories to life. God bless you more
Listening to this song brings back so much old memories when our African communities had rich Yoruba traditions and culture through Ogugu’s, Ugunuku’s and Gelledeh traditional societies.
Please my elders, if anyone know the name of the song where Baba sang "Abimbola ti bi ibeji o" I will appreciate it. It's a favorite of my late grandparents and I will love to listen to it in remembrance of them. Thank you very much.
If you are thinking of a traditional music that relaxes go for baba legba and Osita Osadebe. Like some here, I hated this music with passion until I grew up. Whenever I want to go secular in relaxing my head, I go for it. No wonder it was aired late night by Splash FM Ibadan in the days . I don't know now. Good music died in the 80s/90s.
When i was a lil boy my dad always listen to baba legba omo wura epo akara haruna ishola etc i always got boiled for all dis kind of music . But now as iam getting older i got so much love on his music , that i cant do without playing baba legba in a single day . May his soul rest in peace ❤❤❤❤
When he had a knee problem and Cash madam paid for the surgery. Baba promised to wax her a song that will be the best of all the songs he had written. 40+ years, Baba is late, Cash madam is still alive and so is YEGEDE
