I think the most important thing u can do before u start this make sure u have a good game plan. Have all your other options open. Maybe write them down before u proceed.

Me and my girl are getting evicted as well and since I'm the sole provider rn because she lost her job we couldn't handle the 2k rent. Barely moved in August now back homeless. 😢

I’m not mad about living in my car…. I’m mad there are no safe long term places to park…facilities out there.

I just moved out of my parents house 2 months ago. I got a one bedroom apartment and if things start to get tight I’m going homeless and living in my car, i’d rather not move back home because it’s just not good for my mental health. I really don’t mean to be ungrateful for having a home to go to, while others are living in the streets. I just don’t like arguing or being told what to do, I like my peace and my privacy. I don’t like that I have to put up some kind of front and pretend to be somebody that I’m not just to make my family happy. I don’t like feeling like I have to avoid going out, having sleepovers, or traveling often without constantly being questioned, dealing with them worrying and complaining. I don’t want to live in a bubble, I’d rather have my freedom.

I feel you. I hate my job and hate my micromanaging manager. Logging in every day is a nightmare AND it doesn't cover my bills. My knee has something wrong with it but can't afford the MRI my doctor wants me to have. That also keeps me from doing Doordash or Uber Eats. I'm at the end of my rope

I’m glad I chose healthcare as it’s a industry that is always in demand ! I could work almost anywhere and overtime is always guaranteed which I love and for me it’s super easy and doesn’t even feel like work ❤it’s a blessing ! I cleared 106k this year and I have no kids 😂😂 💵 I’m lucky too as I have great management and they leave me alone

Jp and i decided if we do get a job cash or pay roll, we decided to do around 30 hours a week, because the more you work the more taxes you pay anyways, and then not only you have no life cuz you work all the time but you give your precious hard work money to the government!! We just need enough money for our phones, car insurance and now rent. Yes Tiff rent! I Ann is renting an apart studio cuz i was sick of living inside a house with other people, and living in a van is not ideal in canada.... spring summer fall is not bad, but 8 month out of the year we get winter!!! I cant believe im renting again but thank God its only 600$ everything included! But its hard when jp is just starting to work, and we are behind in bills because we were homeless for 2 years, God provided just enough every month for 2 years i paid my bills! A miracle really!!! God prevailed even without a job or home, He had us under His wings! I pray that God Yahweh bless you with all your needs and wants!! I pray for protection and provision always in Jesus name amen! If Homeless people really wanted to change their situation they could. I am 50 years old and my roommate is 54. At that time I was soon to be homeless. My homeboy told me that he wasn't on the verge of homelessness, but rent was kicking his ass too. We saw the crunch coming 3 years ago and decided that if we joined forces to weather the storm, combine our incomes, we could survive. So we moved my apartment into his. And after 3 years, he has excellent credit, a new car and I just bought a used 17 yr old car with 152K miles on it. He's a Unionized Carpenter and I throw 3rd shift Freight and have a side hobby hustle from home. The only thing that we split is rent. He pays lights, I pay Internet and food. He eats out often but I prefer to cook at home and the majority of the time me and my non live in lady eat 100% of the food. I saved so much from not doing it all by myself that now we have a techno style apartment. We have Appliances (coffee maker, crockpot, blender, two 55' 4K Ultra TVs, all the TV apps you can think of and I was able to buy a Mid-tier Gaming PC that I use for my Design software. I was able to buy an actual Bed and it feels pretty damn good not to sleep close to the floor. I'm not bragging but I seriously looked at the economy 3 years ago and saw it going downhill, so I jumped at this opportunity. Having a roommate isn't the best as far as cleaning is concerned, but it's way better than being homeless. The illusion of this country is Independence. People need to ditch the idea of "Independence" and seek Co-Dependence going forward. If you're working and someone else you know is working, join forces and pool your dollars together and Rent an apartment. Fuck your pride, get realistic.

I’m really considering ! In my apartment I’m able to save a lot now it just takes discipline! But I’d be saving so much more if I stayed in my car but I’d be giving up so much for example I cook every day and I think that would change a lot if I didn’t have my apartment !
