Just dyno mine 598/566
Probably make 1250 on a dynojet
Perfect graph 📈
Big power! Great work.
Dumb question, but does the cluster show 9th and 10th gear?
@@MikeStewart26 unfortunately no, the only v3 that would, I’m told, is the 2019’s. I was thinking about trying to flash an 19 os on the cluster, but I didn’t want to risk bricking the cluster. Customer is ok with 9/10 not showing
Shifts are on point!
Great video! 10 speed swap seems to be a game changer. Looking forward to BRC’s future builds.
Damn
Is this engine still alive
@@dylanscheuers2264 car was sold years ago, unfortunate I do not know
Stage 4 all day, that mean and super deep rumble from the kooks header
That dyno number is more than concerning.....typically 14ish lbs doubles your N/a hp. Therefore thay means this 5.3 is making less than quite a bit less than 300rwhp na
No E85 in the North East in general.
Boost 101: (and this goes for ANY roots blower), if you keep IAT's low, you can pulley a stock LT4 efficiently. Any ECU will start pulling timing when IAT's rise. Watch your logs and pull your plugs!
Great video and break down for consistent power and the average Vette owner.
This video is partially misleading. On the bottom end, naturally, a higher geared car such as the 3.91 or 4.10 gear set is going to have a much better low end torque advantage compared to the 3.45 or 3.27's. However, on the top end, (110,120,130, etc.) the lower geared car will always pull past due to the fact the higher geared vehicle has exhausted its torque flow. In the end however, it's all in what you're looking for. If you are doing strictly 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile passes, the 4.10 or 3.91 gears are inherently better due to their low end torque nature. If you are in a higher speed race (Roll races 40-160, etc.) the lower gear ratio such as 3.45 or 3.27 is the better choice due to the top end powerband. Regardless, both of the cars depicted in this video are badass cars that command respect.
what size pulley do i need to make really good boost but not blow my car up i have the stock 4.5 whipple pulley but i have a 426 stroker engine im not sure what size pulley to run safely but still make some extra power and boost
Good luck in Texas, Ryan.
Thus dude is just trying to sell his new package. I have a Lingenfelter pulley kit in my ZL1 With kooks headers and Borla exhaust CAI Airbox and custom tune.773 at crank 648 wheel and 792 torgue on 93 octane .it is strong.
What about a 2.3" pulley just to compensate for density altitude? In Denver, for example. Blower is spinning more, but the cylinder pressure is no higher than it was a sea level due to altitude.
Still creating heat based on blower speed. Then you remove the denser air that was helping cool blower and creates even more heat. If you want more than ported blowers with a lower can work. With e50 you can run an upper and not have issues in a street or 1/4 situation. He's kinda going overboard in this video with no pulley information. Just doing a 2.3 on pump 91 or 93 can make more power but usually just creates heat that then pulls all the timing and makes less. Like 1 pull and then full cool off. That's not always the case but po8nt he's stressing.
Quarter mile?
They both sound bad ass, I'm having a BTR 225 stage 2 cam, headers, and MSD intake installed as i speak.
Have the stage 2 car in this video... bought it from owner. Car is a beast. Have no issues passing smog/inspection in new york. Car has plenty of room to make more power. Completely streetable... these cars are not really streetable even in stock form lol.
Does it have any other exhaust modifications? Also in NY and have kept mine stock because I wasn’t sure what I can even get away with
👌 nice , would you happen to have tge specs of the stage 2?
What about adding an aux pump and then a pulley?
My guy tom makes 743 sbe on his 150k mile ls7
For the stage 2, is it arh 2” or 1 7/8
Looks like DDE new headquarters!? What cam tard did you go with?
We dont get e85 in north western canada where im at ..... so thats irrelevant
It woulda been better to do this test with long tubes an factory exhaust on both
Cute trailer queen
I hate the lagging 2-3 shift it feels like it takes to long to shift.
Any driveline mods?
Does this advise still count for a 10 or 15% lower pulley?
I have a 9% lower pulley on my C7Z and haven't had any issues. I don't track the car. Just spirited driving on the freeway.
Big difference!
Agree !00% !!! 50% E85 ...stock pulley !!! As a road racer .....who runs equally prepared ZL1 1 LE's ...and C7 Zo6's with friends ...my stock pulley car runs just as fast or faster on the straight aways as they're pulleyed cars , that are pulling timing from excessive intake temps !!!
How would 391 gears do in a g8?
Buy them
I mean
How’d it hold up after 6years? 🤣
100 Percent, been saying this since the first LT4.
Ted Would rotofab, longtubes and E60 blend be okay on stock LT4 fuel system ?
@@Highlander1432 With the addition of a JMS fuel system voltage booster Yes.
Is this a pro charger??
Is the channel dead?
cant hear a word ur saying bro speak the fuk up
What year cars will this work on? Just the LT1 years (i.e., 2014+)?
Any chance you guys have still got build info on this car? Lol
I've got a crate GM LS7 570 hp in my 2010 Camaro SS. What heads are on this? Looking to do mine SOON!
Not too good. Heads cam and manifold should be much closer to 600whp I made the same numbers with the hotcam version crate ls7 stock manifold and stock LS7 heads. Hot humid day too.
Sinister
Great run, that Camaro hooked extremely well and took off like an aircraft catapult!
damn I wish my 95’ Z28 could make those numbers
How do you pass smog👀
