Episode 11: ‘Halloween Ends’ review: Please End!
We need a Thelma and John Wick crossover and make it an action/comedy like that one Sylvester Stallone movie called Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot but better. 😁
I would freak out if I saw an alternate universe of myself because it could be good or very bad. Have a safe holiday weekend, ladies. 😊
@@TG5455 I know. How unnerving or scary that would be. Have a great holiday and weekend as well!!!
@@doublefeaturepodcast Thanks. 😊
Hats off to some of the actors for pulling double-duty on acting, producing, and writing. 👍
I remember seeing a community post from Struggle Reviewz TV about this movie I believe and it did look interesting.
@TG5455 It definitely kept our interest.
@@doublefeaturepodcast I'll have to check it out this week. 😊
6 PM CST, 5 PM MST, and 4 PM PST. 😊
Thanks 😊🤣
@doublefeaturepodcast You're very welcome...I can do international times too, if you want. 😁
Great choices, I've been curious about Under the Bridge. I was a die-hard Saving Grace fan. I love that you showed Jennifer Beals sum love, yes anything she is in. I would add Linden from The Killing and DI Vivenne Deering from No Offense (2015-2018)
Thanks, it was hard narrowing down this list. The Killing is a great selection. Haven't seen No Offense. I will have to add that our list.
Mask is an amazing story!! So glad you enjoyed it!
It's one we've seen numerous times. A favorite of ours.
Yesssssss Long Kiss Good Night
Hi Ladies
HI. Thanks for Tuning in!!!
Two live chats for the top twins is fitting 👍
Thanks we had a ball.
We lost you sisters 😢 Thanks for briefly having me 👍 I hope you both ok and not in too much trouble... 😎
Thanks for tuning in!!!! We appreciate it!!! Thanks for all the recommendations!!!
Added. Cheetah sent me
Thanks for subscribing!!!!
27:59 Noooooooo! She was frozen! Why would you do that WiFi? 😱😭
The WiFi wouldn't let us be great. 🤣
That WiFi should be ashamed of itself for being so rude. ❤️
Carla Gugino made it twice so she must be very good. 😁
Great actress. Definitely recommend you check out both series if you haven't yet.
I'll make sure to check her out. 😀
I'll give you one out of the box and one that I'm sure that it's inside the box. I'm a stand for the band Slipknot because of their great energy and it's music that helps me through some tough times. I'm also a stand for TLC, it was my childhood group that I enjoyed listening to because it's so nostalgic. 😊
Great music selections!!!!
@@doublefeaturepodcast Thank you. 😁
So sad I missed this live ! Susan &I were on the edge of our seats with this ! What a twist !
We are glad you were able to pop in and say hello. What a twist, indeed. Good season, in our opinion.
The best ! Jody Foster deserves an award for that ! Sue & I wanted to take a shot every time she said f#@k ! Lol
@mamabluray3343 Ha love it. Yes, she gave a great performance. One of our favorite actresses.
I'm so glad you posted. I like your perspectives!
Thanks for watching Karen.
Loving your conversations. Just want to give my two cents on a few topics that you all discussed if you don’t mind. I think the viewers are being a little hard on Leah’s girlfriend. It was Leah who threw the projectile at Navarro which sparked the incident and now that she is suffering the consequences of her actions, not that she was deserving of the police violence, she calls out to her 90 pound girlfriend?!! To do what? There were dozens of protestors who watched Leah getting beat down, right? Did any of them rush to her aid? No. Aside from all of that, Leah has no consideration of what Navarro had done to save her, and at the end she calls her a pig?!!! Her character is trash if you ask me, and she has been that way throughout the entire season. Not for nothing, have you noticed that there isn’t any relationship between two indigenous people on the entire show? Just a random thought. I think Kayla is not necessarily jealous of Liz as much as she is concerned that Pete has demonstrated his primary allegiance is to Danvers. Danvers every demand on Pete’s time, whether he is on the clock or not, takes precedence over his family, and the viewers don’t even understand why he is sooo faithful to her at all. I think Danvers was a bit out of her depth in the scene with her, Kate, and Connelly. In fairness to the actors/characters, it was a poorly written scene, imo and it shows the pacing of the show is a bit off. The acceleration from that scene, Kate’s meeting with Hank, Danvers discovery of how Connelly knew of the Wheeler case, and the standoff amongst Danvers, Hank, and Pete happening in one episode given the sluggishness of episodes beforehand was a bit jarring to me. There are entire characters who either haven’t been fully developed(Julia, Rose etc..), scenes with the bear that are inexplicable, and scenes with the characters driving from one place to another that takes up valuable time that the show doesn’t have to waste given there is only one episode left. I think Navarro’s identity, since it has been hinted at throughout the entirety of the show, will answer a lot of questions for the viewers. I think her identity will tie into Rose’s statement about the reasons the dead return and how Navarro has been confusing the meaning behind what is being communicated to her specifically. I appreciate your review of the show. If there is a season 5 of True Detective, I hope the original writer of the show, Nic Pizzolatto, is in charge of it. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback. Love your breakdown and analysis of the show thus far.
Phenomenal recap and stunning episode. The writers built a domino effect in this episode. The moment Hank turned his gun on Danvers 😮😮 Next episode is going to be edge of your seat entertainment.
Having the last name of spouse in the phone address is not wierd. I have known a number of couples (husband/wives) who “call” refer to the other spouse by LAST name. Probably an east coast thing…
We assume it's probably normal for some. We hadn't seen it before.
No way could they do 8 episodes. The last 3 episodes have been the same scenes over and over again
We're just hoping we get some answers and resolve. We're also hoping the last two episodes pick up the pace.
Love how y'all breakdown each scene. David brings great insight into the possibilities of this mystery.
Yes, he does. It's been great having him join us. We've been having a great time!!!
The scene with Rose was a trip. it's like she was hosting for the dead. I enjoyed the exchange between Rose and Navarro, hearing about her life before Ennis.
Yes, we got a kick out of Rose's attire. Loved that she was content hosting a lavish holiday party for herself. Love that we did get some backstory for her.
I think it was the mother under the bed, after the orange rolled from under the bed. I definitely think Navarro has the vision of sight, although she is trying to deny it.
Yes, we've been feeling like it's Navarros' mother and that the orange has some significance to that relationship. We've been leaning more into that she is like Rose with the gift of sight.
I saw the Hank's scene with Peter as a rebound. I totally think had the mail-order fiancé showed up he wouldn't of given Peter's family a first thought.
We felt bad for him in that scene, but I'm sure he will result to his old ways.
I hope so too. i don't want a rushed explanation because it would be a shame
We are nervous that there are only two episodes left, but we are hoping it gets wrapped up nicely. Agreed, it would be a shame if they left things unanswered or unresolved. Would be horrible if things were rushed.
I have not enjoyed Night Country from the jump. The two leads seem like they are on completely different classes and that they do not match up well at all together. Thanks for the fun discussions Please levy some fair criticisms to this show. I feel that everyone is praising it excessively and not acknowledging how bad it is in many ways. Can you do a Jodie Foster moving by movie discussion that would be fun.
We appreciate your input and feedback. We understand there are criticisms of the show, as well as noteworthy things people are liking. We have been enjoying it thus far! Early days! We can appreciate one not liking it fully. We think doing a ranking of Jodie Foster movies would be fun, or an analysis of one of her films. Thank you kindly for the suggestion.
Great episode, happy to be a new subscriber.👋🏽
Thanks so much for tuning in and subscribing!!!!
Hank ain't done this season. it's suspicious.
It's definitely something suspicious going on with Hank. Don't trust him at all!!!
I think Hank is focused on finding Clarke because Clarke might details about what happened to Annie. That comment from Hank was telling.
Yes, I agree. He wants Clark out of the picture. He's definitely trying to hide something.
Hi gals , hope you both are well! ❤
Hi @mamabluray3343 We are doing well!!! We're getting back to streaming🤗 Hope your doing well!!!!
Liking the live. 😊
Thanks for tuning in!!!
Caught the replay. Nice breakdown ladies!! I am loving this show thus far.
Thanks for tuning in, Jim. We are enjoying the series thus far as well. Loving the slow build and Easter eggs being planted.
Sorry I missed this! I was on a stream tonight to! I'll catch the replay!! ❤
No worries, Mel. Thanks for checking out the replay.
Love your breakdown, im coming off episode 2, fully intrigued. Come through with the spoilers. I'm checking for the footprints on the rewatch. Usually would be doing a binge, this is fun looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts each week.
Thanks for watching!!! We are definitely going all in with the spoilers for our episode 2 breakdown!!! We are still intrigued and our enjoying the buildup. Didn't notice footprints in our rewatch.
Loved the show! Sorry I wasn't able to join the chat live. I really liked the first episode and looking forward to see where it all goes. I agree that the Alaska setting is great for this and is a character itself. Jody Foster and Kali Reis both did a great job and I think play well off of each other. I don't mind the weekly release, gives me a chance to catch it and digest it for a bit before seeing the next episode. Looking forward to your shows and will try to jump on next time if you go live again. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Corey!!!! We're glad to hear you are enjoying the show thus far. It definitely has us intrigued to continue.
This was fun, appreciate the clarification on the Saw movie. Hugely underrated Villain Chromeskull from Laid to Rest. Great hearing The Midnight Meat Train mentioned.
Will have to add Laid to Rest to our watchlist. Awesome name, Chromeskull. Midnight Meat Train is s fun one. Great time!!!
Rusty Nail is a great character. Not 100% if he was a serial killer, but he definitely snapped. 💀
Agreed. He definitely was pushed too far and snapped.
Samara Morgan - The Ring
Great pick. Remember watching The Ring and Samara was downright terrifying!!!

Wow, Shyheem, you killed it with these selections!!! Great picks. We debated mentioning a few of these. So hard to narrow them down. There are too many good ones.
Great list! I actually just picked up The Midnight Meat Train and looking forward to watching it. Thanks!
THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CLASSIC FILMS BY THE LEGEND WHO IS "Clive Barker", I HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET HIM ON ONE OF HIS BOOK SIGNING'S YEARS AND YEARS AGO, IT WAS A JOY. THE FILM IS PURE CLIVE BARKERESQUE HORROR, JUST LIKE THE EXCELLENT QUALITY AND WRITING ADAPTATION FOR THE SCREEN OF NIGHTBREED. NOTE:- I AM NOT YELLING, IT'S TO SEE BETTER TEXT. !
Thanks. We can't wait to hear your thoughts once you check it out. Also congrats on the new channel!!!
Wow, what an honor that must have been to meet him in person. This film is done so well. Just perfection. We are glad to hear that more people are checking this one out.
@@doublefeaturepodcast Thanks and I’ll let you know!
@@doublefeaturepodcast I was bad and forgot to get back to you. I did get this one watched and really liked it. Went way differently than I was expecting, but I guess I really wasn't sure what all to expect. Thanks again for the recommendation!
I'm here for season 3 of FROM, been watching since the first episode. Excited for the House of Usher. I just binged Interview with the Vampire, definitely worth checking out and there will be a season 2. Great choices, good to hear y'all back.
Thanks for tuning in. We are glad to hear that more people are discovering From. Great series. We are looking forward to season 3 and where they go. Expecting good things about The Fall of the House of Usher. Flanagan is a master storyteller. We haven't watched Interview with the Vampire, but we are planning to check it out.
Im only watching Gen V right now and its good! I normally hate superhero shows but this and The Boys are amazing! Plenty of gory scenes if you’re into that kinda stuff! 😅
This is one on our watchlist!!! The trailer for the series looks great, and we have been hearing good things. Looking forward to checking it out!!!
