I’m an Okie to neighboring town from Norman. Toby is a generous man. He fundraised to open OK Corral a hospital for kids with cancer. One of his worries we passing away was who was going to keep it open. I don’t the World is going to miss him but Oklahoma has lossed a great Godly man. 😢

WOW I had no idea that in 1978 I was living in Norman OK and became an OU Sooners fan. I was so impressed by Billy Simms that I understood why OU Sooners were such fans and at that time Toby Keith was probably 17 years old and in the stadium cheering for his hometown team. 47 years later I found out that we lived in the same place before he was the next great person to put the Sooners on my map of places I had lived. 😮by the time Moore OK claimed Toby Keith Boulevard. I was living there in 2002. ❤ small world
