This song was inspired while I was thinking about all my friend that have passed and the absolute finality of it. The song came to me. "The Road" is a metaphor for life. The lyrics, Music, arrangement and performance and Vocals by Dave Tunnell.

Tim and I were noodling around and I came up with this riff on acoustic and tim Joined in. The I decided to start off singing about a friend of mine that had died young in a car accident. in the chorus I turned it to a song about grabbing life and everything it had while you can. Sadly, Tim passed away shortly after we wrote this song.
