They had incredible chemistry on Friends and then when they revealed that they both had a real life crush on each other it made me feel a bit sad that they never got a chance to see if it would have worked off-screen. Truth is, if it was meant to be, it would have happened. Perhaps they each knew that as it turned out, they were/are better as "friends".

Richard deserved better someone who loved him as much as he loved them and wanted to give him a family. He deserved that. All she cared about is her career. She could have it all with him. He gives up too much of himself for her and if he is the love of her life she should have given things up for him. I really grew to dislike her. Richard was too good for her!
